Im not sure of the year of this banshee but the rear swingarm setup seems to be 87 but it dont have j arms.The motor say 2gu so i dont know but i picked this banshee up in a trade for a 98 blaster i had roughly 150 cash in and a chinese 110cc i rebuilt for my nephew after buying it for 35 bucks.The blaster had my spare top end .050 wiseco,jug,and head,fmf gnarly pipe,boysen reeds ran really well. This shee ran and had 105/110psi and ran and started easily but was bone stock so here you go from the time i got it until now let me know what you think.

im about to order an aftermarket head im not sure yet im researching on here as we speak but my question is which cc of domes should i get? Im wanting to get something that will work now in basically stock configuration and also compliment porting after the jugs are ported. From what im gathering so 21cc seem about right or am i wrong?And the noss head allows my to use my factory studs? Id like to keep running pump gas i run 93 now with amsoil interceptor at 32.1 Also my compressions 125psi in both cylinders what will it be raised to and is this mod very noticeable?

Just out of curiousity what are your credentials if you dont mind me asking?How long you been in buisness professionally,how many shees you did,whats your level of involvement in the atv world,do you do other mavhines or just specialize in shees and so on?

Well so far i got no complaints about these they look awesome and so far are performing flawlessly. How much of a difference are the two?

I have a basic stock rebuild new sleeves 64mm bore forged wisecos,k&n,toomey t5's,chariot reeds,stock carbs and im running 280,stock needles middle clip,32.5 pilots until my 27.5's get here and im in illinois so i think maybe 500 elevation. Id definately check for leaks especially if your plugs are white.For good measure you may want to jump up to a 320 just to see.

695.00 for the kit and it included jugs,head,forged pistons,gaskets the whole 9 yards and porting i was quoted 300.00. But seeing how thats 1k in a top end id have to sell my dirtbike and i dont want to get rid of it so after talking to you guys porting the stock jugs sounds like itll fit my budget and still yield descent power.Im not looking to win any races or anything im just looking for it to put a smile on my face when i mash on it. The trail port you describe is exactly what i thought i was maybe asking too much for.So sounds like an agressive trail port will be in my future.

I have one of the 40% bigger radiators from ebay and the silicone hoses and mine bone dry took about 1/2 gallon maybe little less.

Yea 4 mils outta the budget im looking for budget friendly power. So if i keep stock stroke and im at 64mm now in the stock new sleeves what should i have it ported to considering weight and riding? Im in illinois lovington to be exact.

Im painting mine as well but im using diplicolor auto paint.Its held up on my blaster for 3 years. I like the design looks 80's.

i purchased the chariot performance reeds and they look awesome definately look like theyre built to last but are they really comparable to vf3's?I have vf3's in my blaster abd theyre really nice but how theyre built these chariots look way better and theyre billet but do they really flow more than the vf3's? Also what are the little blades for on the chariots?

im corn fed bro lol im 6'3 235lbs what are the engines charactoristics with this type of porting?this may sound stupid but i want to be able to lug the engine on trails yet scream in the rpms in the sand or am i asking too much and of opposite things?

im just curious why the method of leak down testing isnt with vacuum instead of pressurizing it?isnt pressurizing the engine dangerous to seals and gaskets?

Yea ill be getting the stockers ported sounds like the most cost effective way at this point since i dont want to change pipes and so on to accomodate the larger bore. Now my next question is what type of port am i after?Like i said i ride everything from country cruising back roads to the dunes at bad lands so im guessing id want/need a wide power band? Whats a fair price in your opinions? Ive ported plenty of SBF heads but never a 2 stroke so i plan to leave this to the guys that have invested in time tooling and R&D. Thanks.

So for a budget friendly upgrade this winter porting the stockers seems like the way to go true? I dont really care about more displacement if i can get what im after with the stockers being milled. Im in lovington il.South of decatur about 25 mins.

That sounds like what im after.Id like to not have to change my exhaust. so who does good reliable reputable port work on oem banshee jugs? Whats a fair price?
