perfect. I did indeed have coolant in that pipe. just want to make sure there's none sitting anywhere else from the leak. I'm a 2 stroke newbie and haven't opened a case yet.

so. from the looks of the good side piston/dome, should I just replace the dome and maybe clean up the piston a bit and put it all back together ?

I recently had a coolant leak onto the right cylinder and am wondering if there is coolant sitting in the crank case ?

surely, measurement is they way. I figured they would come stamped from manufacturer with a way to identify the specifications. thank you guys.

Can anyone tell me how to identify the MM on the Keihin carbs. I know these are PWK. I did indeed first try to cross reference numbers on the carb, but no luck.

so.......this can be the reason my head gasket Oring went bad on one side, while my other side piston and dome, seals are in one piece and spotless ? or ? At this point, I am ready to rip the bike down and make sure this is right. What are my main factors. I need to figure out, Jets (jet and pilot) dome size (22cc). I have Vforce3 reeds. previous owner told me to run 50/50 race/premium 32:1. maybe alone the 50/50 is to much ? I know there are to many factors.

ok, so I realize I asked a dumb question, but I also just found that there was coolant dripping out of my right exhaust pipe. I pulled the cool head and found a broken O ring and signs of coolant. Is this most likely the issue why I would have the same coolant leak out of the hose in-between the radiator cap seals ?. My radiator cap "Appears" to be in god shape. Is there a way to diagnose a radiator cap or just buy a new one ? obviously I am installing a new O ring and a new dome now that it got eaten up.

ok, so I pulled the coolhead and found a broken O ring on my right cylinder (clutch side) same side I noticed the coolant leak No gouging found. after I pulled the cool head. I inspected and found no signs of coolant on the left side and piston and dome look excellent. however, here are pictures of coolant side leak.

ok, so all I should do is have to pull the cool head off ? is that where the ring is ? if not the ring, do I pull entire top end off ? <2 stroke newbie....

So. Ya.........just ripped the bike at Florence last weekend....... In my garage did a quick kick over and rev for just a few seconds and noticed coolant drip from the silencers. (Green fluid) not condensation. Head gasket ?!?!

What do you mean when you say the cap has a seal above and below the hose ?

I just bought a banshee. Brought it out to Florence this weekend for the first ride. It has a stock radiator and the overflow tube is cut short and just comes off the radiator and is zip tied to the frame about to the bottom of the radiator. Radiator fluid drips out imediately when I start the bike when it's cold or warm. The bike is not overheating. I rode is all over the dunes and just kept an eye and nose on the dripping. Just see the smoke from radiator fluid dripping onto the pipes is all, but bike rode excellent all weekend. The bike was very well taken care of by the previous owner, but obviously I want to cure this issue, so I'm not just spewing fluid the whole time. What your thoughts. Obviously I could install an overflow like stock.

Will the aftermarket $80 radiator exceed the oem radiators cooling capabilities ?

Are you looking to only trade for round house style on that +4 ?

As I move from a 4 mill to cheetah cub, I plan to upgrade to an aftermarket radiator. Should I be picky on brand or do the ones on ebay that "say" 30% more cooling power work. I want what is right while keeping the project finances in the right areas.

So. I'm a newbie to the two stroke world. My new found 2 stroke runs a 50/50 blend. I have 2 choices in my area. Sunoco and VP. I seriously don't know weather this is a stupid question or not, because the Vp is a few bucks more a gallon than the Sumoco, but I can get Sunoco from the pump and Vp in 5 gallon cans.

Sand lake is a good quick dial in spot for the day (jetting, break in, whatever). convenient to the further northwestern folks. easily agreed its beaten down, kiddy playground and once you've gone south, you will say the same.
