  1. Everything for the tors hooked up? By slides i mean internal, what the throttle lifts. Sounds more like a tors problem. Eliminate them, thatll help you a ton

  11. I got some Athena 392cc cylinders for the price of some spare yz490 parts. I read all around here, people say that they are no good... but why? I don't need directed to a different set-up. This will be my spare motor set-up. What's the deal with these cylinders? They look real good and clean, have never been ran at all, I just wonder why they are "junk" when Athena is a big name in big bore kits. Thanks.

Id rather not fuck it up, the intake windows are opened up and its all smooth, same with the exhuast and the transfers, but the transfer ports and exhuast port havent been opened or shaped or anything. When someone pays 300$ for a port job, the guy does all that along with the port shaping, all i need is the port shaping. I dont want to spend 300$ to do it. Id spend like 150$ or so to do it if any REPUTABLE builder. Not to get a ton of smartass comments, who will do it?

  18. These guys are quick to bash, if they saw the shit thats on it now (a rust colored brown) im sure theyd want to change it up too.

Im picking up some parts today, i got some cylinders port matched to the cases, 35mm carbs, pods, and talking to the guy he says the cylinders had the intake ported (windows a little taller, smoothed out) i need someone to rise my exhuast port but i dont have 300$ and dont want to run the superstock piston. Who can help me out here?

  23. Looking on a 2 stroke tuning site for my dirt bike, it recommended i take a edge off the piston where the exhuast port is, if i did this to my banshee wouldnt it be about the same as the superstock piston?
