just joined this site, first time posting in a forum. heres the deal, i picked up an 01 banshee. Low compression so I decided to put in a fresh top end. Bored .80 w weisco. It has procircuit exhaust, vforce3 reeds, boost bottle, stock box with k&n w no top, stock carbs w tors eliminated and idle screws. before start up on new top end i check the jets, they were stock main 200, 25 pilot. Changed main to 310, 27.5 pilot here in va at sealevel. Bike fired up 2nd kick and seemed super rich w smoke and up down up down idle and generally choppy until 3/4 throttle. Drove it several times up and down the street, and the left cylinder sounded as it was bogging or cutting out. Came to a stop and it cut out completely i believe from being so rich and would not start even after a few days. Come to find out the guy i bought from had the slides in backwards. I switched them and the bike still wont fire. Heres what ive done since, new plugs, checked spark..its there on both but seems maybe weak, gas is getting to carbs and they are clean, carbs are synced by eye, cross over tube is in place, compression is 145 on each cylinder, reeds are good, fresh gas 32/1. Still won't start, any suggestions?
