I only heard this but never witnessed it but a guy at my local track said his used to do this. He used blue loctite and never happened again. I have no clue what would cause this

I sure dont, I sold that bike a few years ago. I used chrome hex head bolts, i looked pretty good and held up well.

Drill some holes in it and bolt that shit together. If you do it right it will look good.
