  1. Noohing better than a happy customer. Now more people buy some some so Jeff Wendorff can get a paycheck tomorrow!!
  2. Still got 3 sets of standards ready to get shipped.
  3. I'm not for sure. It depends on how they are mounted. If they bolt to the same holes as the pegs do then probably not because of the way the front bolt is in the middle of the two rows of spikes.
  4. I can do that. Are you thinking your going to want them in a different location that the 1 back 1.5 down?
  5. Yes they are 2 1/4" wide. I think the stock ones are just over an inch. Length is just about the same as stock.
  6. You got a chance to go for a ride with them yet?
  7. I've thought about polishing all the pieces before I weld them up so they still got the weld color to them. Believe me to polish a set of these, I would have ALOT of hours in them. Stainless is some hard stuff. Definitely not like polishing aluminum but it does hold the shine very well.
  8. Actually none of the welds on those are done using pulse.
  9. I have thought about it but the laser im using doesn't really do that very well. If anything that would get done on a CNC with a engraving tool. To sprinklerman: the laser doesn't cut aluminum or else that would definitely be an option. Thanks for all the compliments guys. It's great to hear everyone likes them.
  10. I got 5 sets of these ready to go. All 304 stainless construction TIG welded. 1" back and 1.5" down from factory location. $125 plus shipping and PayPal fees
  11. Thanks guys. I totally agree about the coating. The other day someone asked me why I don't paint or powder coat them. That would totally ruin them if you ask me.
  12. Whats up everybody, my name is Richie Petty. Ive been welding and fabricating parts since I was 14 years old. The first time I TIG welded I knew it was going to open a door for many cool things to be built. I'm sure some of you have already seen the pegs that I built for my bike. There was enough interest in them that I thought maybe I should build a few sets and see how they do. The pegs are built out of 304 stainless steel and all TIG welded. The sides are cut on a laser machine to guarantee precise and consistent cuts. Everything is then ground and buffed to a satin finish. Because I am a welder by trade and am very proud of my work I leave all the discoloration created by the weld process on the pegs. I think that it looks best this way but if you don't like that just let me know when you order your set and I can clean it off. The standard pegs that I will be making are moved 1" back and 1.5" down. This has proven itself as the best location for comfort and aggressive riding positions. If you would like them in a different location then get with me and we will see if we can get something figured out. All pegs will come with new stainless bolts as well. Standard Banshee pegs are $125 plus shipping and PayPal fees. If you dont mind USPS I can give a flat rate of $13 anywhere in the continental US. As long as I have your pegs in stock (I'm going to try to always have sets of the standard location pegs on hand) your order will ship the same day as long as i receive it by 3:30 p.m. CST. Thanks for all the interest so far in these things guys. Everyone on here has been awesome to work with so far and I look forward to doing business with more of you in the future. 13. Yeah I think I'm gonna start doing that before I ship them out. Don't wanna run into any liability issues. You could unbolt them suckers and cut down a tree if you needed to.
  14. Yeah ive been TIG welding for about 3 years. I work at a place that builds industrial sifters. Most of my welding is on stainless with a mix of MIG and TIG. Thanks Carlo, I hope they work as good as they look. Do you think that the spikes are too sharp?
  15. I could add a 3rd row of spikes exactly how they are now. But why? They are pretty sticky.
  16. Well I'm missing a motor right now so I haven't got to ride with them yet. They are much more comfortable than the factory positioning even just sitting on it. Your feet would definitely have a hard time sliding off those teeth. First set is headed for New Jersey!! If anyone else wants some let me know.
  17. First set is done!! 1" back and just over 1" down. Notice I made the teeth a little finer this time. These things are sharp!
  18. As long as your not trying to weld some aluminum to mild steel you should be alright. I know newer yfz's have partially aluminum frames. And that defiitely doesn't work.
  19. I'll give y'all the option of factory position or moved just let me know what you want and I can make it.
