Appreciate the responses guys. Yeah acting very strange. recent 10mill build. Has the pancake bearing and modded star. feeling very confident it is not the clutch or gears. doesnt seem like the normal bent shift shaft either. guess there is only one way to find out.

So my buddies bike has 1st gear no problem, then shift up its neutral then 2nd is another neutral unless hes hammering on it, but if he lets off it pops back into neutral, then hammers again itll kick back in, 3rd gear is fine and 4th does similar reaction as 2nd and 5 and 6 are good. Some transmission issue not sure what exactly could be causing it. 2nd gear is almost like a snowmobile. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading. YIS Dutchy954

Oh obviously get your pistons before you bore hahahahaha

65.5mm would be your next bore. If you have a local cycle shop or machinist that does this work normally, that would be okay. usually 60-80 bucks a cylinder. Then youll need crank, FAST racing has hot rods trued and welded cranks for $400 i believe. wiseco pistons $175 for both. 2 wristpin bearings $20 for both. and youll need complete gasket and seal kit maybe $80. and a good sealer like 1211 is $20. That will put you at about $815 if rest of bike is in check. You can also stay on the hunt in the FOR SALE section on this site and score some really sweet deals on used/ barely used parts and go that route.

i get it complely. i bought 6 non runners last year. built one stocker got 28 and got my money back mostly. then built this for short money. just trying to find fair value. would keep it or fund another banshee project.

ill probably enjoy it far more once new swinger is on and change my mind haha. good to find out cold hard truth tho!

definately not looking for sugar coated but im curious why its value is so low. ive bought n sold quite a few quads, bikes, and banshees before. this is first i built from scratch to keep. maybe market up here is different. you cannot buy banshees worth owning less than 3k up here. maybe a couple at 2k if youre lucky but def not clean

Not sure what is so funny. Bike screws pretty good. 172psi a side. I am not mad at the power of motor at all. Just coming off 450 riding wasnt expecting the 2+ gallon / hour fuel expense!! but its worth it. I knew it was overpriced just didnt think it was over 2k overpriced. Just spent that on crank, pistons, basket and front shocks easy. The eyeball engineering +4 swinger may be for sale soon when i get LSR -1 put on.

Here is MA a bill of sale transfers ownership enough to be registered. And in most other states a past registration and bill of sale have same value as Certificate of Origin. Here in MA they dont even file it like a car title, why so many bikes in new england have no CO
