  1. I have a -1" and love it all around. For any steep hill with moderate power I wouln't go any shorter tho.
  2. With the DC one, can you run it without a battery ? (For leds). What kind or rewiring need to be done ? Thanks !
  3. What is the difference with the standard Wossner ? They sure do look very good !
  4. The do had a good bunch of low end punch, I can pick the front end up a lot more easily at lower rpm now.
  5. Seems like we can't edit posts... On their website wsm only list forged under "race pistons" with added boost port. That's what you have ? Anyone tried Vertex too ?
  6. Ok to anyone that might help, I read that boring them out reduces velocity so you should jet up (bigger) a bit.
  7. I read that cast pistons had better lifespan than forged piston but those WSM almost make me change my mind. A lot of place I read "All I use is wiseco", it's what i have and I feel going another route. Debating pro-x, wsm (cast and forged), and wossner. How many hours did you ran it on in 6 years ? Also the top of my piston were a LOT cleaner than that with 32:1 hypertech SSS oil. Don't know if it's supposed to or not.
  8. Just got mine from FAST, can't wait to try them out ! I'll be running stock pipes in winter and pro circuits in summer.
  9. Hi, I brought my banshee with the stock carbs bored to 28mm and I'm wondering what it is THEORICALY supposed to do to the jetting. Say ProCircuit recommends a 260 for their pipe and a stock banshee should I go bigger/same/smaller with the bored carbs as my starting point ? I was wondering the same with Vforce4 reeds and mild porting if I go down this road. Thanks !
  10. When properly jetted it should start first or second kick (usually second in cold weather).
  11. As the title says, I need an axle carrier in good shape with the middle sleeve. I don't need the bearings/seals. PM please. Must ship to Canada by USPS. Thanks !
  12. How much ? You'll let me know once it's sold ? Thanks !
  13. You have the rear axle carrier ? Willing to ship to Canada ? Pm me thanks !
  14. Great seller. Had some issues with shipping unrelated to him and he was patient enough to deal with it all. The shocks were in good condition, as described.
  15. In all the DC conversion article I've read it doesn't mention if you absolutly have to run another regulator and / or a battery. I'd like to do without a batt. Do you have anything close to those light ? http://www.lazerstar.net/brands/lx-led-light-bars/endeavour-3-watt-double-row-led-light-bar/endeavour-450-utility-led-flood-light-10-led?cPath=1054_1059_1089 I mean, the 900 lumens of the small ones is okay, but I'd like the bigger look. (Plus a bigger reflector is almost always better)
  16. I was really surprised too, I first read it in their catalog and went to their website then tried the one I had on hand. Did not want to fry them so I did not left them on for long. http://www.lazerstar.net/index.php?main_page=faqs "Q. If my quad doesnt have a battery can I run LEDs? A. Yes! Any of our LEDs will work on AC bikes, including the LX LED bars." Dunno man !
  17. I've tried it because Lazer Star states that their LEDs can run on AC no problem.
  18. Did you ever try them on AC power ? I have access to very similar lights at job, they are inverse polarity protected so I tried them yesterday for kicks and they work. Funny thing, you can switch the + and - and they work just the same. Might affect durability tho, only ran them like a minute to see if they would work.
  19. Straight line in sand pits and for drag they sure do hook up good, but in the trails they get flats easy, they wear quick and they make the handling sucks. I'll stick to knobbies.
  20. I'm in Qc, and I only use 4 snows in the snow For summer I like the dunlop kt335 (raptor 660 oem tire), they work good, grab hard, last ok, and are pretty cheap.
  21. Why are they shorter than stock ? Are they meant for a banshee ?
