He's here in Bahrain, the last couple of weeks the temp dropped about 15-20 degrees. It's why I diagnosed it with a fuel problem unless its purely on start up and idles fine after its warm.
Did this just start over the last few weeks? With the temp dropping quite a bit here it could be that you need to adjust the air screw in to give it a bit more fuel. This would only apply if the bike still will not idle after being warm. Normal temps should be around 190ish I would guess.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the center of the crankshaft is splined right? So you can't actually get out of phase unless it was put together wrong.
Sometimes when the pilot is undersized you will have popping on Deceleration. This is common in Harley's and 4 strokes.
