  1. I'm currently building a drag shee for the 1/4 mile. I'm trying to figure out the best route to breaking into the 10s. I was wondering how hard it would be to take it into the high 10s with a 4mil build. I haven't started building a engine yet so it's a blank sheet can go any way. I was thinking dual lectrons 4mil crank Wisco pistons. shearer otf pipes. Possibly straight cut gears and running on 110 race gas with cool head. Mild port Unknown dome size as of yet wanna research best options for that. And I also am going to have to figure out best gearing I was planning on welding 8 inch extended swing arm and +2 in the front. My frame has some slight wieght reduction. And I was planning on getting a lockout clutch. Unsure on the clutch to choose yet. This banshee will be a asphalt banshee only.
  2. Alot of the banshee i see only have narrow wheel to wheel axles. i was wondering what could the advantage be?

  4. does anyone think my mains should be about 340 or what do you think would be a better guess thats what i figured about the last thing I need to order before i fire up my banshee for the first time are some main jets it has FMF fattys K&N pods cool head with 21cc domes v force 3 reeds and +4 timing My elevation is 600ft
  5. im trying to find out who makes this it was on my last banshee ive been looking to find it again and i cant im starting to wonder if the old owner made it it was a block of aluminum which it mounted to the stock stem and moved the bars forwared like a in and 1in higher or soo sorry but thats the only picture i have of it

  8. finally after having it for a few months i finally got to really ride it yesterday, i traded a honda motor for this banshee i picked it up pretty rough and it was not running, all tires had flats no plastics a missing brakes and everything else lol Anyways i got to take it out yesterday after dumping money on new rims tires nerf backs etc the bike has a 2-1 carb setup pwk 39 +4 advanced port n polished n a few other things, low end wasnt there im guessing maybe bc the carb is so big but mid range to top end was insane im a big guy and i was having trouble keepin the front on the ground when the power band kicked in!!! im hooked and thanks to everyone on here for helping me with my noob ass

  12. maybe it needs to get rebuilt or something the guy i got the atv from didnt do anything right on it everything is super jenky on it is there a online dealer here i could send it to to get it done right? i never messed with carbs b4 if i take it apart is there the number stamped on the jets?
  13. do you think the carb that came on my shee is to small? or maybe even to big its a single pwk 39mm keihin i think the stock duals are 28mm anyways im wondering if i should swap it out for a different single carb, i was told the shee had HP pistons and it also has full fmf golds im just trying to get this thing running perfect although it does fire up on the first few kicks just kinda feels boggy in low rpms im trying to pin point the problems
  14. hey guys i just got my banshee and noticed its missing the springs that hold the exhaust to the motor theres 2 on each side im wondering what size to order i have FMF gold's and wonder if i order stock length are they gonna be the right size or are FMF different springs sizes from the stock ones?

  17. i plan on buying new a arms like this week im torn between armadillo +2 or lonestar +2 +1 both are 470ish bucks what would you go with between those 2 company also would i have to get longer brake lines with them?
  18. alright i couldnt wait so i just did it now i put it back on messed with the idle screw than tightened the brass screw in and backed it out 2 turned kicked the starter over 5 times fired right up and idled for 10 min till i shut it off w00000 thanks a million hopefully it will fire right back up tomorrow
