I saw a big one but then again when i replaced my pistons i also replaced the cylinders and these new ones have a mx port job from herrs jugs and the 65mm which is a nice step from 64mm
I have a banshee that i bored out to 65mm but just out of curiosity i wanted to see how much difference it makes from cc's? I would really appreciate it if someone would help me out a little
Hey guys I need two sets of pistons, one set of 64mm and the other set of 65mm. I need pistons and rings. Please let me know if you have a good set I can use and if so how much shipped to zip 79927
Thanks guys
Yeah it was bad ass while it lasted it was basically all stock displacement but with evedy bolt on and good tuning lol. As for the piston it did not blow up. It just chipped a piece off the side maybe about a centimeter wide but like two inches long and it still ran just didn't have compression on that one side. But still gonna take everything apart and build it. And yeah I sure pissed off a lot of people with that stock motor lol. I might just get some cyl's done and port them to like a 65 or 65.50 and see what happens
Im going to look for some set of wiseco's and either run a pair of 19cc domes and just save my 18's for the track and just steal some 110 from my other toys "Bbc powered nova's" lol.
No i never did a compression test on it and a couple a friends told me to use thar much oil. They kept saying that banshees love a lot of oil. Just to make sure it was the 93 octane. And yeah we had the timing at +5
I was running 93 pump octane and a full quart of lucas oil mix with 5 gal. It ran super like it never ran before. I kept beating my buddys 4 mil and his brothers cub. But i lost compression in one cyl yesterday pulled my carb and reeds off and found some bits of piston from the right side. And when I took the cool head off found out it chipped a piece of piston. ;'(
