i had the same problem with mine and i checked the resistance of all the connecxtions and it turn out the stator went to shit so i replaced it and it fired up on one kick sorry i dont remember what the ohms are for testing them but u should be able to find them in ur repair/trouble shooting manuel

I am very new to the banshee world. I love what i have gotten myself into and wanted to get some info on engine mods. i have a buddy that owns a 06 yfz 450 and keep slaughtering me weather we are in the dunes or in the woods and i am ridding a completely stock 96 banshee except for full set of pipes and was wonderin what my next step would be to step it up so i can either stayy up with him or just eat him alive. i cant stand that he is beating me all the time please any advise will help me! p.s. great site looks like alot of gret people with usefull info
