  8. Fantastic Seller: I purchased a fairly large amount a parts (crank/reeds/juggs/carbs/coolhead) Very easy to comminicate with, even over the holiday season when most are bussy with family stuff. Parts were all exactly as pictured and discribed in ad, fair priced, and the packaging was fantastic, each item individually wrapped in foam and or bubble wrap. please dont hessitate to do bussiness with Ban99shee, this was my first buying experence on this site and it was a pleasure, honest bussiness man here.
  9. With all the attention to the forsale forum lately i wanted to leave some hopefully helpful feedback for potential buys of ban99shee. I just recieved my purchased items from him today(crank/carbs/reeds/jugg/coolhead) and let me say first off the packaging that ban99shee does with his parts is fantastic(overkill maybe) i think this package could have fallen off the delivery truck on the freeway and been just fine, all items individually foam wrapped, several bubble wrapped, shit, it was just extremely well done leave it at that. All the parts are exactly as pictured and very well discribed in add, no foul play here, honest seller. He was easy to comminicate with even over the holiday season, i personally hope that all my future purchases go like this one. This is a seller that offers fair prices, Ads with accurate pictures, and very detail discription of item, and packages them so they get to you with no problems. (thank you, ban99shee appreciate all your efforts) Hopefully if you are thinking about purchaseing something here, my experence will help you with your choice. Good luck with rest of sale..
  10. just thought maybe someone might have made a scale for stock or maybe alternate scale with cool head/domes.
  11. awesome restore with the 250r, very nice work
  12. thanks very much for the information new to this tap and die stuff and still new to the web site but with the 50 post requiement for the sale forum I'm throughing out my questions in posts and learning on the fly. really though thank you for the response this was information I was struggling to obtain.
  13. I also hate that look, banshees look great not sure why they do that.
  14. is there a compression scale out there that breaks down compression level vs octane fuel needed?
  15. awesome info guys thank you. also gives me more questions lol. So with the 4mil crank if I use the spacer plate I can use off the self domes but somewhere I read the spacer plate isnt the best way to go? help me here because I woild loke to do it right. if I port the cylinder to go with the crank my guess is they would need to know if I'm useing a spacer or custom domes? I'm in Utah and ride mostly in little saraha so 5-6grand elevation for pump gas I am being told 18cc domes is what I want but to aviod the spacer and do it right I need have them custom cut? are the costum cut usable on a cub/serval? or just standard domes?
  16. thank you, very much for the advise and information on thread size. Is there a tool for finding the correct thread size on these or any bolt? for example on the foot peg or is there somewhere that has that information already?
  17. Okay i could use some help getting learned up on domes for cool heads, please. I recently purchased a 4mil crank and currently an not sure what way i will go on the top end with tax returns in the near future serval or cheetah might be a option instead of port job on stock cylinders which was the beggining plan. I also purchased a cool head and will need to get domes. This is the part i need help with from what i am getting there is small bore and big bore domes but is anything special needed for use with a 4mil crank? and if i go with a serval or cheetah can the cool head be used there or will i just need to sale it? I see where sponers offer to mil stock heads to work with these and this is why i am curouis if anything special needs to be done to these domes.
  18. I recently purchased 2 banshees and have spent the last few months learning as much as possible about them, this site has been an increadible resource for this. one of my machines is extremely mechanicaly sound, the other machine i have experenced more issuses with and believe i located my main issue. I have located a few location with stripped threads on the bike, 1 of the 4 intake bolts, were it bolts to the cylinder is stripped to the point it just spins when the bike is reved. Because of this the bike is sucking air and giving me problems. I need to fix this and am looking for suggestions on the best way of accomplishing this? (heli coil, tap to larger size, loc tite?) When i was going over the bike i also found 2 other stripped thread locations, 1 is one of the clutch cover bolts, it is on the high side and doesnt seem to cause any leaks or problems, other is more critical it is one of the foot peg bolts it is not completely stripped but close to rendering the bolt useless and i could possible lose it after a day of riding however it is on the clutch side of the bike and i will need to remove this bolt any time i need to get into the clutch so i dont think simple loc titing it is the best option. In the past i have fixed problems like this by drilling it out and tapping the hole the next size up and useing a new bolt, but i am worried i dont have a ton of metal to work with going larger in these spots. but with the intake and the footpeg i would very much like to be able to use the correct size bolt if i can repair the threads. Any advise would be apprecaited, is heli coil the best option here? i have never used one any advise with them? and does anyone know the thread size of these bolts or where i could obtain a tool to figure it out? also with the importance of the intake does any of the site sponser maybe offer a fix(curouis of price also), i am alittle nervous to attempt a heli coil on a part this critical on the bike, should i be or are these a piece of cake? Or is there a better way of fixing these?
