  1. Thanks for the heads up. That's something I didn't know.
  2. It doesn't look too bad. I figure once the plastic is all off take the motor and gas tank out there really isn't much left. Are there any special tools that I would need? I've got all the regular hand tools that I could ever need. I am getting drag cut plastics and I want to remove some brackets that aren't needed and repaint it silver. My buddy said the wiring is the hardest part to figure out.
  3. How long do you think it would take to take apart a completely assembled banshee, paint the frame, swing arms and A arms and reassemble it?
  4. I'm looking to trade a set of Toomey T6s for a set of CPI Inframes. I pick the bike up Tuesday and can get some more pictures. I'm just a CPI guy. Here are the pictures I have. I won't know the exact condition of the pipes till I get the bike Tuesday.
  5. Already sold for $27 shipped. Motosport does have them for $21.99 and $8 to ship them. So does a lot of other companies out there.
  6. Do you have a pic of your new temp gauge? I've always used a meat thermometer but it's not super accurate. I know when I'm getting warm but that's about it. I just like the small clean look of it.
  7. I removed mine on my old bike and went down to the local wal mart and got some chrome door trim from the auto department.
  8. I's wait a week minimum of no rain before I'd go to Haspin unless you're wanting to go muddin.
  9. Who has the best price out there on chrome CPI inframes nowadays? Sandtoyz sold me my first set for $499 but I can't find them anymore.
  10. Is it possible to import an 07 or 08 Banshee to the States from Canada or Mexico? They're not banned from the States yet so shouldn't it be possible? I also really like the 08 orange and black plastic. Anyone know if a dealer can get a set of the new plastics?
  11. Most of the time I run Shell 93. If I have to I'll run BP 93. And if I'm feeling like I'm a millionair I'll run 110 Cam 2 race gas. I mix it with Klotz Benol. Never once have I had any pinging or issues with the 20s on pump gas and advaced timing. Seems to run a bit warmer but nothing to worry about.
  12. Sweet, when I did mine I did the cool head with 20s and advanced the timing 4 degrees all at one time and was blown away by the improvement in throttle response and power. On my new bike I'm going with 19s on pump gas. People I talk to say it'll be fine.
  13. Advance your timing +4 too and you'll love it!
  14. I've got an extra spanner wrench. $20 shipped.
  15. You could easily run 20s. Not sure on which one to get. I've only ran a pro designs cool head and I loved it.
  16. Here's a couple shots of the other side. I love the silicone on the fingers to help grip the levers. Here's the info on these copied from Fox's website Padded palm Silicone lever grip Hook and loop closure Padded knuckle coverage
  17. I have a brand new pair of Fox Yamaha dirt paw gloves. They have never been worn. I bought them last month not knowing my Wife already had bought be a pair so I have 2 pairs. They are size Medium. The colors is Yamaha Blue. The flash on my camera actually makes the blue look a little lighter than it really is. It's dead on Yamaha blue. I'd like to get $27 shipped for these. Or local pickup in Lebanon, Ohio for $22. I take pay pal.
  18. Here's the pictures of his bike...
  19. My daughter has a Honda TRX 70 quad. Do you think she could ride it there or would it be more of a hassle then it's worth?
  20. Yea, that helps a lot! Thanks man
  21. OK, My wife (pregnant), our 5 year old daughter and I decided that we won't be taking our annual vacation this year to Florida or Myrtle Beach like we always do. We decided that with a baby on the way and the prices of gas that we'll save the $4,000 that we normally spend and just go next year. But we are going to do a 4 or 5 day get away to a place a little closer. I've never been to Silver Lake and I really want to get up there and ride the dunes. It's only 6.5 hours from where I live so that's no problem for a little get away. Like I said before, I've never been up there. So it's going to be a little hard for me to convince my wife that it's more than just a place to ride. What else is there to do up there that the family could enjoy? We like water parks, amusement parks, shopping, eating and just relaxing. I'd also like to look into maybe some jet sking on the lake or maybe some rides in the dunes on a buggy or something. What about nice places to stay too? And as for as my Banshee. Do they still require spark arrestors? What all is required to get your bike in? Thanks guys!
  22. I'll go May 10th if anyone wants to go. I get my new bike May 6th as long as it's not sold by then.
  23. I've always had them notorized. You need a witness of some sort such as a notor.
