  1. can any one tell me what the size of the gas line from the tank to the carb is and what size the over flow lines are ?
  2. Ok thanks for explaining that. you don't really have to cut the threads off to test that tho you can just look at the end of the plug right? Maybe not as accurate as cutting the threads?
  3. What do you think i should be running for main jets ? and again thanks for the tips!! what is plug chop?
  4. ok thanks for the tip i had another question i just bought this bike and its got really low gearing i can barely hit 6 gear its got a 15 tooth sprocket in front and a 39or 40 rear. i have a brand new 13 tooth front sprocket i was thinking about putting that on what do you think? Also i think my jetting is off i have 230 mains and 25 pilots. the bike has DG exhaust, pro design intake with open airbox, tors removed with twist throttle and i know it was rebuild with Wisco pistons cant tell you if its stock bore or been bored out.
  5. yea thats who i bought them from he is sending me another shock so if this one turns out to be junk i will buy your forsure thanks!! what color are they buy the way . Also the may sound like a dumb ? but i just bought a bottle of yamalub 2r and it does not have the ratio on back. i run 32.1 and with other oils its 4oz to one gallon is that right?
  6. Whats up guys, I bought a pair of used shocks on ebay and they turned out to leak so i sent them back and the seller sent different ones so i installed them on the bike. i took the bike to the shop to have the clutch worked on i get it back and take it for a spin what do you know the second pair of shocks are blown the right shock compresses then gets stuck (does not rebound) i cant believe this!!! to make matters worse i ordered a dg fatty grab bar from amazon and it turns out that they didnt weld the mounting tabs evenly so now i have a grab bar that is cockeyed!! must be a knock off. what luck i have. i thought you guys would get a kick out of that so i thought i would tell you. DOES ANY ONE HAVE A PAIR OF SHOCKS THAT ARE IN (GOOD) NONE LEAKING OR BENT OR BLOWN THAT THEY WANT TO SELL!!!

  12. The only thing i have taken apart is the cable off of the clutch lever. i have not yet taken the crank case off. but i can move the case lever all the way like its not hooked up. the story behind this is that my friend crashed it and i just put it put it back together. i replaced the shocks a arm tie rod and ends and just cleaned it up . when i went to ride it is when i noticed that it wont release . so lets say i welded the ball and rod is that something i can fix my self???? also to answer locos question yes i can move it by hand, iam not sure what you mean by play but no there's no side to side play or anything like that iam going to take the cover off today and see what i can see what should i be looking for i should be able to so if its release with the lever right ? please help guys i dont want to pay a shop to fix it i would rather learn and do it my self!!
  13. i have a hydraulic clutch just so you know. i disconnected the cable . and when i push the lever on the case it doesn't seem to do anything like its not hooked up in the case. could some thing be broke inside the case. 14. OK guys Ill start by telling you the story, i just bought this banshee from a buddy and my other buddy crashed it. So while i was waiting for the shocks and other parts that he broke i took it apart and cleaned every thing. Well i put everything back together and the clutch wont disengage. by the way i have a hydrauic clutch which has been bled. It only pulls a lil bit and then stops even when i push with a wrench it wont release any further. any thoughts please?

I cleaned the carbs already i can check the bowls iam pretty sure the right bowl is on the right carb as i did them one at a time but ill check. it has twist throttle tores removed dg exhaust and stock carbs and reeds iam not sure what size jets are in it but i can check . if it was the jets then the right side would run leans and die out after a lil bit like the left you would think. could it be my reeds possibly? Also a lil peice of information when i put the carbs back on the bike i accidentally put the slides in the wrong carbs i know dumb hey, anyways the right cylinder was the one running weird if that helps and i did switch the carb slides back to normal and synced them as best i could as i did it by hand! any help ill check the carb bowls and get back to you
