Why do they say to soak your chain in kerosine? its hard to find. I have the Yamaha gold chain on my bike (non-o ring) is there anything else you can soak your chain in to remove rust?
sorry for starting a new thread on this..but i couldnt find anything on this
Tried searching for a solution, havn't found one yet............. just cut off my "dumbo ears" in the rear and need to "shine up" the rest of the plastic..how can i restore plastic to a shiny finish? it very dull and still has some scratched parts from previous owner of the plastics.. i have seen the heat gun/blowtorch technique. Can anyone shed light on if this process is possible for white plastics,? ive only seen is look really good ob blue
+1
That will help in a performance aspect, what about visuals?
are you going to cut the fenders? I know everybody does it, but i personally like the look of it, and the "all black" deal would look sick!
I use Kal-Gaurd to clean stuff from my rc racing, and people tell me it was originally designed for mx application. I just don't want to use it on plastics and have it "blur" my plastics like it does on other plastics. Anyone tried to use it yet? if so, how well does it work?
I definitely like the idea of the "clean" look, but would still like to ride at night, any way to mount those smaller l.e.d.'s underneath rather then ontop of the shock mounts? or has anyone tried it?
That sucks ass, but to an extent its good, but there should be a happy medium. Here in Cali. there are all sorts of rules, but most of em are sensible,(helmet registeration some spots db limit)... imo Helmets are a must!!!!
