  4. It's a toasted VForce2 causing the issues... I made a leakdown tester and it held pressure fine. Thanks for the help! (Trust me i'm relieved to find this).

  6. I was too scared to let it run any amount at WOT while it was cold... It ran fine at silver lake two weekends ago. Maybe something was jarred loose on the three hour drive home... I think a leak down test will tell the story.
  7. Trust me I understand.... I have a single 38mm PWK carb with 2 into 1 trinity intake. Vforce2 reeds. It has to be something simple because I dont think it could chug that much air through just a ripped seal... I just checked the cylinder base bolts and they are tight. Everything on the intake appeared ok. We'll see once I look into it more.
  8. I rebuilt the motor fresh over the winter, and taken her on quite quite a few trips since. All of a sudden when I go to start it, it revvs highly at startup even though carb is closed. I suspect there is an air leak somewhere on the case, causing it to be able to suck air and rev up lean (it did not run for more than a second or so)... Does this sounds like a reasonable guess? I havent been able to tear into it yet, I just want to have a good idea of where to look first.
  9. Both were on dc. It's weird because the bike functions properly, and all the lights work, even a test light. When I hooked up the nitrous coil it would not actuate the coil. I wonder if the magneto cannot provide enough current...
  10. I want to hook up a couple auxilary 12V items to my quad. I can't seem to find 12V. Ive hooked up to the yellow wires out of the regulator, as well as the taillight leads, and it only comes back at about 1V max when I rev it. Have you guys seen this before? Ive used both analog and digital meters....
