Selling my 4mm HotRods long rod stroked crank I was going to use for my build. I'm putting that aspect of the build off for now, so the crank is up for grabs. It used but in great shape. Has been trued and welded by Passion Racing. $320 shipped. Will post photos when I get a chance.

What size engine is the 41mm recommended for? Prob more than a mx setup stock cylinder 4mm stroker I'm guessing

So I called Axis today to see what they have spec'd out, because they have a listing. The tech said that for the Roll design long travel arms in an MX setup for a stock chassis, they also recommend a 16.75" shock...
-
Ah I was just looking at them quickly, and the tack's on the one broke. Going to have them both just loc-tited and re-welded with a nice bead around so it wont happen again.
-
If you are considering an upgrade in shocks within a few months, just save yourself the money and hassle and just get them now

So after doing a search and finding no resuilts... Does anyone know of any reason not to weld the bolts to the knuckles (what some may call spindles) so that they do not loosen? These are the bolts that hold the piece that the tie rod goes, to the rest of the knuckle. I've just noticed that over time these damn bolts seem to loosen a little even when torqued down.

First off, need to know that your arms are standard or long travel. I believe lonestar only offers them in long travel for the banshee. If the shocks are the proper length for the arms, then the shocks will work, but the ride quality may vary. First off, +3 arms are putting added leverage on those shocks in comparison to +2 arms, so the shocks will be softer all else aside. It also depends on what your weight is and what the shocks are valved for.

Yeah 18" may work better for MX. I'm going to call Axis on monday, they have a listing for shocks to run with these arms in an mx setup... I want to find out what their measurements are.

He is a great seller. Easy to communicate with and responds quickly. He also ships extremely fast, I got my stuff 2 days after he shipped it (it had to come 1/2 way across the US). Thanks again

Here is a photo of the Roll arms with 17" Elka Shocks. 18" may be too long, but it may not. I think I may call Axis as well and see what they have listed for this arm setup.

I just picked up a set of roll arms for ky banshee as well. I've been in the hunt for a ball joint removal tool, found one, but its really not listed anywhere so I have to make some phone calls tomorrow to see what's the scoop. As for shock length, Roll themselves have told me twice (I double checked while I was on the phone with them) that for the banshee their arms are designed to work with a 16.75" shock, and she even checked the schematic on the arms to verify this. If you look at the roll website, and I called them, they actually only have offered two arms for the banshee, a long travel arm that is close to stock width for woods riding and that, and the longer one for everything else requiring more width. I'm surprised that Duncan is saying they recommend a much longer shock for Roll arms. The previous owner of my arms was running 17" elkas on his bike... I'll get some photos of that bike up tomorrow when I'm at my computer

Sad part about the raptor plastics is... someone actually took time to design them and thought it looked good
-
NJ here as well... problem is most of the riding in this state has gone the way of the Dodo... have to take them elsewhere usually
-
I thought you could get a Lonestar frame with 250R geometry suspension too... I believe the Laeger's frame is a little stronger (the current Lonestar chassis is pretty good though), plus as stated before the T-pin setup is superior... but far more costly for initial purchase and continued maintenance.

The round Warrior lights are the exact same as the Banshee. The only difference you may encounter is in the connectors/plugs. But that's an easy fix, if they are different, just swap out the connectors/plugs for the Banshee into the Warrior housing.

Hey Everyone, Just wanted to give the heads up that MotoSport.com is having a 25% off sale on all OEM parts... All depending on what you are looking for some prices seem good, some prices are normal (still doesn't hurt to compare to your normal OEM parts supplier). Shipping is still free on orders over $99, even if you get fenders (just priced up a black oem 03 setup at ~$470 with free shipping)

PM me... I have a set of 88/89 pegs with bolt on kick up's that I'd part with
-
Thanks everyone! Definitely saved me from paying too much for that stuff...

It's $275 for the front and rear fenders, tank and radiator covers were not for sale originally. But I want those too if I get the set, and he originally said $425 for everything, but then came down to $395. Is this fair, or should I go for $350? That's about the most I want to spend, plus it will cost me more with fuel, but I'm just not sure if that's a fair offer either.
-
Yep, genuine stock plastics. Granted they are in good shape, not painted, and the ones I want... just $425 seems like a bit much. He said the lowest he would let them go for is $395... Hope someone else does not snag them up... but here is the craigslist link to it. 03 banshee fenders
-
Quick question... What's a good going price for stock 03 black plastics with red radiator cover? I'm looking at a set, but the seller is asking $425 for everything, and its about a 1.5 hour ride. They appear to be in good shape with only minor scuffs and no big or deep scratches. But then again I have not seen them in person. Unless this is a good price... then I will have to get them

I heard greyhound has some of the best rates for shipping fenders and stuff of the like. Not sure if you have tried them.
