  1. I do about 5 mx races 10 or more drag races a year and when I ride for fun its mostly wood trails.
  2. I've read topics about 421 4 mil serval and 4 mil ported stockers for two weeks now.. When I think I have come to a conclusion I change my mind again. Which do you all think is the better choice and why if you don't mind.. im ready to get my banshee up and running again.. Thanks for you all's help.
  3. I think im going buy a 4 mil setup with everything I have been looking at herjuggsracing 4 mill kit and bore and port and polish about the best deal I found. what do you all think??? i have a cool head with 20 cc domes do you have to have special cut domes for 4 mil???
  4. I tore most of it down waiting on my flywheel puller to come in.. one of my pistons skirt has a chunk broke out of it and I have no idea what caused it.
  5. when I tear the engine down what things should I replace while I got it all apart?
  6. it still has good compression and still runs good i redone the top end 2 yrs ago after i bought it.... should have went through the bottom too... i guess if i have to look at the bright side at least i caught it before it came apart. What mods are needed if any to run a 4mil crank? thanks fpr your help..
  7. I checked the water pump impeller all good there pulled the plugs and rolled the kick starter and have a tight spot where I have to "slam" the kick starter to get past and its fine till I get back to that point.
  8. im guessing with the plugs out??? i will feel tight spots??

Yesterday I was riding and I heard a little pop noise then it stopped I though it might be my exhaust coming loose so I checked it and it was fine rode it around the yard easy and heard it again this time doing a few times.... long story short I shut it off and fired it back up and it started rattling after a few seconds to describe the rattle it sounds like when you was a kid and put playing deck cards on your bicycle spokes sounds like that.. I'm thinking I have a crank bearing or lower rod bearing going out??? What yall think?

Thanks everyone..... got the new seal yesterday cleaned it up put some grease on it then put atf-rtv silicon (all I had) on it checked my vents and found it was clogged... it had to be clogged for a while cuz that stuff was in there just don't know why it took this long for that seal to pop out.. thanks again I'm goin ridin 8)
  11. Wouldn't it run bad if a crank seal was leaking enough to blow the seal out? Still haven't tore it all apart yet about lost the tip of my middle finger from the sprocket nut long story..... Letting it heal and got a few things to do first then I'm getn back to it

  13. I was doing a little trail riding yesterday and after I. Climbed a hill and stopped tranny fluid started pouring out towed it back home and noticed behind the sprocket the seal has poped out of the case has anyone ever had this happened???
