I've decided to completely part my hybrid, and not build another yfz. I have a complete front end from that bike. A-arms, tie-rods, brakes, spindles, hubs, and the shocks. Well after lots of interest and no money i am going to part out the bike. I have an axis rear shock set-up for 180# rider for xc with remote resi standard travel.....250 shipped the motor and carbs, it is a 4mil long rod motor cut domes no spacer and stock carbs all fresh from rebuild.....1500 shipped(pm if interested i will give all the details) the wiring harness made for the yfz frame with all electric components for the banshee... 100 shipped the 05 frame modified for the banshee motor...150 you pay shipping (For 250 ill throw in the toomey t5s and the silencers and extra new stinger pipes from toomey) a +4 swingarm for a 04-05 yfz, with round style carrier brake stay for caliper, brake lin, and new x-ring chain....350 shipped i can get pics as needed this week as i pull the bike apart. let me know what your interested in and i can make it a point to get it ff and get you pics. open to offers Any questions you can call or text me at (816) 695 3840 Todd

I don't have a banshee book, but what is the float setting spec.

I've thought about the pilot, but if it was the pilot why does it start fine if I drain the carbs do nothing else but turn the gas back on? Some things wrong its just not making sense to me.

Thanks for the help guys, I will double check the floats and get some fresh gas and see what happens. The bowls fill fine when I first hook it up, so the floats are opening.

Yea, for instance, right now the bike won't start, but if I squirt fuel in the carbs it will start.

What do they need to be set at from the base of the Carb.

Carbs are clean, plugs are new, gas and oil are fresh. I have thought about the floats sticking open. I need to pull them out and check the float height. Motor is new compression is good. Other than when it sits it starts and runs good.

i am having a problem with my bike. if i drain the carbs out and then just fill system back up, the bike will start on first kick, but if i let the bike sit for a few days and not start it it will not start. if i squirt some fuel in the carbs with filters removed it will fire up. They are stock carbs that have been cleaned and rejetted correct specs. the bowls are on the correct carbs, slides are in right, just cannot figure out what is going on. If i start it everyday after refilling them it will start first kick. when it is running it runs good. By refilling i mean i just shut the fuel off at the tank drain the lines and carbs and then hook them back up and just turn on the shutoff. Thanks for any input and help Todd

just what i had here, i have a 04 swingarm i might switch to singe i put a new swingarm on my other yfz.

I was check to see if there is any interest for my hybrid. it has a 4mil long rod motor, 64.5 795 pistons, noss head, cut domes for pump gas, stock porting, stock carbs. we used t5s for the pipes. the chassis is an 05 with a +4 swingarm, new x-ring chain. aftermarket rear shock with remote resi for more clearance. newer wheels and tires. the only thing the bike really needs is the silencers done so it doesnt cover everything with oil. also have a set of rear paddles for it on some stock wheels Let me know if anyone is interested, i will try to get pics asap or i can text some. i am asking 2500 for the bike and what ever extrra parts i have laying around. i will get it all gathered and listed if anyone is interested.
