  1. I unplugged it ,that worked , Thanks
  2. well just came back in from working on banshee, the reason it was sucking in the card cleaner is I never put the cross over tube back between the carbs, now it seems to be the tors the machine will start and idle but the min i as much as touch the throttle the motor stops. Is there any fix to these or file them and put reg carbs on? if i can put reg carbs on is there anything I have to do to the wireing to get the ing to fire? I did think that maybe the left crank seal was tore so I pulled the side cover started the motor and sprayed card cleaner around seal and the motor ran the same , I us the spray to find leaks it works great as long as you dont start a fire ,wd -40 works good to . anyone have any ideas?
  3. It has good comp and starts on first kick, But I have found it needs a gasket or some kind of seal between the carb cap and the tors, when I spray garb cleaner around that area the motor sucks on that cleaner sealing off the leak for a second and the wheeler run fine for 30 seconds, it acks just like a intake leak leaning it out. thought maybe there were problems with these ?
  4. can any tell me why my 1988 banshee does not take throttle. this motor has not run in three years, I put penetrating oil in the cylinders and let set. then took the carbs off , cleaned them although they looked brand new in side. put them back together. turned motor over easy it was not set up. checked comp it had 105 psi . I then filled the carbs fith fuel and tryed to start. the motor started but acks like it runs on one cylinder then two then one then shuts off. I started it back up and as it is idleing I sprayed the base gasket with carb cleaner to see if there was any leaks, all was good I then sprayed the cleaner on the top os the carb where that cable housing fastens to the carb top the motor picks up rpm and sounds great. what it going on with these , is there some seal I have to change ? hope some one can help thanks jim
