  1. great! we need to get the four strokers out there too! thanks and thanks tim steele. that's what i'm talking about..any and all support is needed.
  2. that email will keep you updated but to donate here's two ways to do so: private contributions can be sent by paypal to palmer338_richard@msn.com business' or checks make payable to, oregon dunes raceway by mail to branden moore 4258 franklin blvd. eugene, oregon 97403 any and all donations are appreciated. we aren't asking for big money. private-$50?, business-$100? whatever you can do. we need everyone's help to make this track work. the show of support is critical to assure the track's future. with enough help from the sand community the track can establish a schedule, draw sponsorships, and maintain the property for an ongoing place to race. let's thank richard palmer who has leased the land, spent the time and money to get it started. let's help him make it a success. the hope is to have monthly races year 'round but it takes riders to show up and support it. as stated, this time will be a two day event on feb. 18th and 19th feel free to pm me for a list of this event's sponsors so you can show your appreciation by using their products and services. also visit the track on facebook at oregon dune race park thanks, justin
  3. those stays are there for a reason. yamaha didn't just put random crap on the bike. you may have bent one from hitting something....make sure they're both the same length. as far as anit-vibe...the front and rear have bushings in the case that keep vibration down, these mounts bolt directly to the case and frame so they have rubber in 'em.
  4. if the clutch has been slipping it's probably ready for replacement. a weak clutch tends to show itself in the upper gears. imo, put a new clutch pack in. a new needle and seat may be in order for the carb issue. if you tap on it and it stops, then the float level is probably ok. clean it out good, and if the problem continues, replace the needle and seat.
  5. both he and his brother nick are alright. a little hard on the eyes, but sells good junk. easy to deal with
  6. quick transaction and good to deal with.
  7. good guy to deal with. good prices and parts are as described. thanks larry. i'm sure i'll be buyin more from you.
  8. gives away free towels with purchase. if i lived closer i have a knob he could polish...he's a good shine! great guy to deal with!
  9. ported, not ported? carbs, jetting? fuel type? pipes? until all those are answered the timing is somewhat irrelevant. the timing you need will be a result of the entire set up AND the type of riding you do, which will determine the amout of lead time you need for your fuel burn. keep in mind if you up the compression you will need to fuel for it, meaning octane and jetting. it's more complicated than just picking a number or using someone elses number!
  10. finally someone in the thread with the right info on the ignition. the rest was all guess work. i hope this helps those that need it. i personally don't think this idea is worth the time, cost and effort but to each his own.
  11. everything is going up in nodak. i personally think it's a good deal if it fires up and runs out good. test ride it...you'll know
  12. camatv is right. the only way those break is if someone leaves it on the two halves when they "beat" it apart
  13. i have a dmr +10 straight, big tube, link type arm. good chrome. good condition. also have a lonestar +12 ladder, no link arm. good condition. the shock tabs have been moved so the chrome is less than perfect there. it's a good arm and looks good on the bike. minor scratches....they are used but not abused. asking 350 each shipped. if interested, i can email pics. i can't make the pics small enough for this file manager.
  14. i'm a bit confused. there are 3 ads with the same tires. in one it says the 13's are sold but 12's are left. am i looking at the wrong ads? the pics were the same but a couple got removed.
  15. i need a good rear brake master cylinder with adjuster. pm me info if you want to sell it. thanks, justin
  16. no, some young kid in eugene bought it. he's gonna need a bunch of seat time to get used it. i just hope he doesn't hurt himself.
