So i went out riding today and the banshee ran great for a couple hours. after a while, shortly after start up, one cylinder died (right side). i threw a different plug in and it worked for about and hour then the other plug died (left side). swapped another used plug in and still dead. took the banshee home and noticed 1 of 6 spark plugs would work. ( all 6 were installed trying to get it to run and even cleaned all plugs.) i could move just the plug to the opposite cylinder and it would run there. so i checked the stator and it was good. then i noticed the blue wire for the voltage regulator was shorted to ground due to the wire melting on the exhaust it was also broken in half. i fixed the wire and installed 2 brand new b9es plugs and now it runs perfectly. could that cause plugs to fail internally? so now if i swap any of the other 5 "bad" plugs in it won't run on what ever cylinder i put them in. weird, their not fouled, just dead. anyone have anything like this happen? all the bad plugs are br9es (x3) and br9eg (x2) (platinum). thanks guys.
