  1. Don't hesitate with Brandon. He'll get you hooked up!
  2. There is still good power to be made out of stock cylinders. If you are having to buy cylinders, I would go with the Serval. I run a 421 serval with a Wildcard cleanup port, freakin hoot to ride! So much more usable power band.
  3. Wait what???? What did you end up getting your wife? When we going riding? I'm sure Klotz's four stroke oil is good. I've been running Yamalube semi-synthetic in my wife's 450 for the past 4 years.
  4. Come ride my Serval out on the small dunes outside Oasis campground at LS, you'll be sold then! Admittedly a 4 mil aggressive/drag stock cylinder set up might line up with it and run in a straight line, BUT where the Serval starts building power is phenomenal. If I wanted to beat more people I'd go with the Cub. For a do it all motor, IMO it would be hard to beat a Serval, even with a 4mil stock cylinder bike.
  5. Just depends on where and how you want your power to come on. The cub will be faster when you drag race it. The serval will be more rider friendly out on the dunes. My personal opinion is that the serval is a better all around setup if you are looking for the best of both.
  6. A ported 4mil stock cylinder or a serval are both great setups. After riding my serval and a ported 4mil stock cylinder bike, I'm a bigger fan of the serval. As stated the power delivery across the rpms makes it very friendly to ride and a great setup for all kinds of riding. If the money's there, go serval.
  7. You'll be fine with just a standard or upgraded clutch. I would add a few stiffer clutch springs, as stated above. Lockouts do add rotating mass, which will be noticed more on a lower hp bike.
  8. Lockups are not replacements for clutches, they are an addition to your clutch. They are to help minimize or eliminate clutch slippage that a high hp motors cause.
  9. Any of the site sponsors all have very good reputations. I had a Wildcard Stock cylinder bike and loved it.
  10. My honest opinion, a 21x12x8 10 paddle hauler for your serval. Best all around paddle size.
  11. If you have a billet basket and are parting it out I'll take it for a fair price.
  12. That could be a pick'em. Gearing will factor into the equation also. I personally like the the 22 over the 20. You'll have plenty of wheel spin with the 8 paddle hauler for launches. There will be good hookup with the the 9 paddle extremes for wheelies . On a plus six swinger the 9 paddle IMO would be best of both worlds if on a 22 tire. Take them both and see what you like.
  13. I bought one because I was constantly having issues with overheating on long long dune rides, even with Engine Ice, billet impeller and a coolhead. On the other hand my friend's, has never had a problem with a stock rad on the same rides. I haven't had any problems since putting a Boss rad on. I can't comment on that brand because I don't know. I bought mine from Wildcard. In my case, was it worth it? Definitely! Would it be worth it if I wasn't having problems, probably not.
  14. You made the payment over the weekend and I shipped the crank on Monday. I'll give you the heads as soon as I hear more about why the tracking # is not pulling up on USPS' website.
