  8. Thanks so much for the replies. A whole lot of more info than I had before. Just wasn't sure if it was was worth the extra 30 bucks. Thanks again. One more thing, do you think the new ones would require rejecting....cause with the 573 I'm dead on.
  9. It's been about 5 months now,I can't find not one review on these new pistons....the 11091M06800. I'm in the process of refreshing my motor. And can't decide should I try these or go for what I know, which is the blaster piston. 421 cub is what I have. If anyone has any input that used them, please share..thank you
  10. Actually more of the plate being on wrong....is what I got
  11. The pusher rod, or whatever the eccentric screw housing is called, was sticking to far out due to the eccentric screw being screwed to far in. Meaning the pressure plate kept hitting that big stationary washer prematurely and not grabbing the clutches snugly.
  12. After I figured out the issue, I went back and read, and this guy called it. Now only if I knew what he was referring to when he first mentioned it, wouldn't have took me almost 3 hrs...but yeah exactly what he said was my problem. My plate wasn't hitting the clutches cause of the pusher being to far out.
  13. Just wanna thank everyone for the assistance. I finally found the problem. Took a lil science to figure it out....thanks again to all
  14. Yes...just fine.
  15. Good question...thats what I was thinking before. Have no idea...maybe something came out of line while taking the clutches out somehow since I'm told my hub is to far out....but it beats me.
  16. Thank you...that's the reply I was looking for. ill do that tom. Now I know exactly what the problem is. thank u a bunch to everyone. Well I hope that's my problem anyway.
  17. looks like that pressure plate is going inside that hub, am I seeing something wrong? I really appreciate all that helped
  18. did that as well. not a noticeable difference. But can u answer this one question, like someone mention earlier, is that hub out of place. if so that would solve my problem. Cause it would make sense on why my clutch plate is not grabbing the clutches
  19. I have one...that's why I'm stumped. But what shreerider and radarracing said was the first thing that was mentioned that I didn't know about. Would have posted pics earlier. So is the hub out of place?
  20. No I didn't take the hub off...just took clutches out....that's it...could I have pulled the hub out of align?
  21. Ok, now we're getting somewhere....I'm not sure what's behind it...I just took an old clutch out and put in a new one...is the hub the part that's sticking out from the last clutch fiber? Is it suppose to be more flush with that last fiber?
  22. Could this be an 8 plate clutch basket....
  23. What makes you say that? Why would it need 8? The kit I got came with 7.....is this possible? ?
  24. well there is a washer along with the pancake bearing, but like I said worked just fine that way before. I changed the clutches. did your friends start working once your friend went back to the stock adjuster?
