  1. Looking at getting some Mohawks and wheels for the front. What width works best and/or looks better from your guys experiences? Thanks for any input.
  2. Looks awesome!! Out of curiosity are the front wheels a 10x5 or 10x6. I'm getting a set of fronts for mine not sure to go 5 or 6 wide.
  3. 22x11x8 8 paddle haulers on Douglas .160. Not too heavy very durable. I love mine. Had 20x10x10 10 paddles liked them too but I like the ground clearance the 22 gives u over a 20.
  4. I gather that it is safe to run and won't harm the motor which is great. I've got 165 psi and 5 deg timing advance. Would I get better performance from 110 over av gas? I also heard that some race fuels are dirty. Not sure how much truth is behind that just something that caught my ear. Thanks for all the info and opinions I have received so far they are very much appreciated.
  5. What are your thoughts on av gas? I know it's off topic sorry. Just curious.
  6. Thanks for the input guys. What would you say would be a safe estimation of the hp? I don't know of any place with a dyno near by. I know it's not a monster bike but I've always wondered what it might be putting out.
  7. At what point does a guy need to think about getting the stock crank welded? Current setup: DMC 916 exhaust, cool head 22cc domes, k&n, stock air box no lid, stock carbs, chariot cages with boyesen reeds, bored .010. Just ordered new timing plate and 19cc domes. Am I pushing it?
  8. At this point with these mods do I need to consider having the stock crank trued and welded? I'm running DMC 916 exhaust and have k&n filter stock box no lid recently rebuilt the top end and am runnin 64.25mm pistons stock carbs.
  9. What kind of power gain should I expect when going from stock reeds and cages 22 cc domes and no timing advance and pump fuel and Changing to chariot cages and boyesen reeds ( thanks HJR ) 19cc domes advanced timing and av gas?
  10. At what psi would I need to look for a different fuel?
  11. It's good to hear that others are using it and have been for some time now with out any issues. The guys name is Scott. He has a shop in Richland called quad pros. He's done some work on a couple friends four strokes and they were very pleased with the work an they continue to be reliable and run great. Thanks again for all the great feedback.
  12. Thanks again for the info guys. I'm going to a new builder and got a little nervous when he told me I could use av gas. Wasn't sure about that and made me nervous about him working on my bike. I feel better about it now. It will be nice to have a good builder that knows his stuff close to my home town. He says he does port work as well. I will probably have him do my jugs sometime in he next year. I will put an update after I get my current work done and let u guys know how it runs just in case there is anybody else on here from Washington state that would like to find a good builder a little closer to home.
  13. What about vp 110? I know it's quite a bit more expensive but is it a better choice over av gas or are they pretty much equal?
  14. Thank you for the info. You here so many different opinions I just wanted to hear yay or nay from people on the site. Very much appreciated. I'm going to Florence in mid November with a group of about 30-40 guys. I am the lone wolf in the bunch everybody else rides 4pokes lol. Last year was my first time riding with these guys so I caught a little shit from some of the guys about my bike not being a "mans" bike. I answered back when we lined up though lol. There were only 5 bikes out of the group that could beat me. this year i am hoping that I will be top dog!!
  15. Can I use av gas in my shee? I'm going switch to 19cc domes in my cool head and advance the timing. Wanted some info and opinions before I run it. Thanks for any help.
