Thats the only way i can see them being like this if they were good when they were sent out. Ok how the fuck don't you see this huge crack in the intake. This is really something i want to put on a fresh rebuilt motor. It has been almost two weeks since she said that stuff went out your telling me it took that long for them to return it to you because you somehow didnt put enough postage on it, seams a little hard to believe. You can't tell me that you wouldn't be alittle upset if you would of got these carbs and all this shit was fucked up and junk. When the auction says all other parts included i would expect them to have everything in them, but i guess thats just me. I didn't expect any of this stuff to me like new but i expected it to all be somewhat usable witch most of is not.

Well i called around and you cant buy the tube. Does anyone have a parts carb laying around. I also want to thank wannashee20 and papa smurf49319 for the good fucking on these carbs, i got them off of ebay from wannashee20 along with a set of miss matched reeds cracked intake boots no main jets no pilots a missing needle jet. So for my money I got one carb that i can use a set of reed spacers and cross over tube. I would try to avoid these two if you see them selling anything.

Ok i got a used set of 28mm pwk's a couple weeks ago off ebay. sounded like a good deal at the time like it always does. Come to find out the the carbs were missing just about everything under the float bowl and the rest of the crap reeds, intakes, all junk. The biggest problem is that one of the little brass tubes that is pressed in the main body and goes down into the float bowl is gone. Can you buy the tube or should i just trash the carb and move on??

lol yeah probably is the owner. None of that stuff is bolted on its all just kinda hanging their right now, other than the skid plat witch has to get pulled back off cuz someone sat on the bumper and bent the front down. I took a lot of measurements on the frame and they all came up the same

Ok so you say their missing the idle screw, don't say anything about missing all the jets and also missing the needle jet in one of the carbs. And the reeds being junk for the most part.. I could care less about the reeds that's not why i bought them but all of the other stuff missing from them and not coming out and saying it is a little deceiving, its not the price of the stuff that's missing its the fact that it you said one thing was missing and not others.

Thanks. I thought about doing a swap, I just don't want to spend the money on a different frame if mine is still good tho.

I took some measurements on it today the frame is ok the right J is where the problem is. Does anyone have one laying around or a extended set of arm's for sale??

Because air is pulled through the front of the the carb and comes out the back into the motor

the shocks are the same length as the stock ones i checked that when i put them on. I looked over the frame today, i don't see anything or feel anything wrong with the frame. I'm going to start taking some measurements of stuff to make sure the frame is good. I think the problem is in that j arm like Starwriter said it even looks like that tire is cambered in and the spring comes real close to the j arm.

good eyes it does have some ripples back their, and looking down it, it just doesn't look like it has the same bend as the other side.

I had it all taken apart, cleaned up everything, made new bushings for the j arms and a arms. It did have a bent shock on the right side when i got it, but the ball joints feel real nice and i just don't see anything that is bent. You guys see anything im missing? How do the shocks go in on, do they go in easy with everything bolted up or do you have to unbolt the j arms?

I went to put my new front shocks on my 88 the other day and i noticed that the left one as your sitting on it went right in with out having to unbolt anything, but the right wouldn't go in without unbolting the upper arm. I looked everything over when it was all apart i didn't notice anything bent. Any ideas on what might be wrong??
