  6. Hey guys, ive been thinking about some things and need help for some answers. Ive been riding since i was 11, and had my first banshee two years ago when i was 13yrs old. Anyways , me and my uncle about porting . Such as Port timing , and exhaust Degrees. I've been wanting to know about " What Exhaust Degree to use with a certain pipe,crank,etc.." I want to start porting engines myself, allot of you guys will say to get it done Professionally but sometimes there will be financial issues. Not only that but to have the knowledge at my age will be awesome . I know allot about these bike and about their engines, but i want to get deeper into the sport , i want to build fast bikes and learn off of them. I just need someone to give some input on port timing , and exhaust degrees. I already know benefits and all the fancy stuff about it, since ive been porting blaster cylinders to practice. I know its not all about removing cast flaws, and metal. Theres alot more to it. Another question. Im doing an off of frame build on my banshee . Ive got a 4mil crank with 110mm rods. And some Stock jugs that are resleeved with 69mm sleeves. Jugs have a Trinity IV Port job. this setup will give me 433 cc's . Will i have to run a lockout clutch? Im going to be racing a bit but riding more trails, and Open space riding. I only weight 150 Lbs. Also with the setup i have do i have to run blaster pistons? Or just Big bore pistons. Since i dont have longrods? All this may sound retarted to you guys but im only 15 and want to have great knowledge by the time im in my 20's lol. Any input or advice will be greatly appreciated. Joey.
  7. Just bought my first Dragger. 421 Ftw.

  8. This guy is a douche lmfao. Not all floridians are like that lol. Im from Miami. Flowrida this is not a good way to enter a forum.
  9. Hey guys i havent been here in a while because im Rebuilding the shee. Ive posted a thread at blasterforum already but decided to come over to the banshee boys to ask a few questions. I currently rebuilt my blaster motor Its got a aggresive mx port, Toomey b1 pipe, vf3, and a shaved head. Im running a stock carb because i need to buy a throttle cable for my 34mm keihin. Heres the deal once i crank her shes like a car , she tends to have a high idle then come down to a perfect idle. Note: I have all my idle adjustments screwed all the way in. So this means shes idling all bt herself! i have a 32.5 pilot and a 310 main. Main jet is fine but i have sputtering problems at a 1/4 throttle! I checked for an airleak and shes fine. I need help . Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank You. Joey.
  10. Hey guys i bought a bike for a 1000 and came with bills pipes heard of them but never ran them. Are the any good. I believe i have the newer ones that were made. And i do trails and some open riding are they good for my type of riding??
  11. also the carbs arent syncronized is that a big problem.. stupid question but im only 14 and only have a good 4 years messing around with bikes
  12. thanks for all the replies im going to give it it a try y do u guys think it keeps backfiring
  13. the tors is remove but it only has the caps for the top of the carb removed, but not the idle screws on the sides..
  14. My friend had bought a shee, and the only thing it had was it wouldnt idle.. so he took it riding and rode reall good all day until he hit a puddle and the bike bogged until it turned off. the bike was taken back to the house and just parked it because there was no time to mess around with it. i cleaned the carbs, and pods. tryed to crank it and wouldnt start for anything so we pushed started it.. the bike had really bad throttle response.. it would bog when u hit the throttle and then 10 milliseconds later it will rev up. well it will clear up once you put in gear and hold th throttle all the way, also the bike backfires! if you guys have any ideas what this could please reply. any help will be apreciated thanks.

  17. hey i need the a-arm and if you have spindle and hub i'll take them to zip 33142
  18. Well im 14 and know alot by learning over the years... you know about the crank soo i guess i can help you some more.. alright carbs is what delivers the fuel and air mixture this my cause different changes and very critical qonsequences so you have to be on top of them to have the right jetting, jetting has to do with the parts that are in the carb and you change them depending on the weather, altitude, and mods, theres a main jet and pilot, the main is used at 1/2 throttle throgh full, the pilot is used in idle through 1/8th of a throttle. you got the carb part so keep researching on here cuz i aint gonna write anymore!! lol
  19. my bad i know what i have to do, the problem is i have a 4mil with long rods, do i need to bring the exhuast port down 2mil and the intake up 2mil
  20. Im gonna port myself a 4 mil sleeve, do i need to go up with the port or go down with it to match the piston ports?
  21. still sellin that 10mil
