yes we were, and I agree with about 99% of what is mentioned above. however, im not a fan of long pants. my father died on the race track.....he was wearing long pants. I know that wasn't the cause, but it did nothing for the broken leg that he had or the scrapes and sand dug into his skin when he finally came to a stop. im not gonna argue any point made above, they are all good valid ones, but the long pants thing is just something that I personally feel should be my choice.

this will be a touchy subject for sure.when you say "skid resistant", are you referring to running on asphalt?

I was told at the Yamaha dealer when I picked mine up, (keep in mind, this is their story, not mine) that the reason they do not come with a vin # is for two reasons. one being that Yamaha is selling a part, and not a titled motorized vehicle. two, it would make it too easy to make a stolen bike a legitimate unit. both make sense to me, is it the real reason, well that would be any ones guess.

I bought one from a Yamaha dealer a couple years back, they come the same way from there as well, no papers or title. they have no VIN #'s on them. good price for a new frame in the crate. GLWS

im not sure. but i think this motor sold the other day on E-bay.

deffinatly not CPI's. i had a set of them. they look a little more like WickedATV drag pipes due to the long skinny expantion chamber. im not 100% positive though. if they are, they are still a good set of pipes and worth your askin price IMHO.

i know Redeye personally, he lives down the street from me. serious buyer here. he will drive the distance to pick this up for sure.

Im not 100% positive on the brand of chassis, but that chassis has the characteristics of a Wyatt Kirk hybrid. i had one at one time, this looks exactly like it. hope that helps you figure out some kind of askin price.
