  1. Just wondering if ya got the kick starter sent out??

  2. I never asked anyone to care where I go did I? I was just asking for advice and Jeff did help me out so that's it. I didn't k now I couldn't call different company's to ask about their input. And I do understand that people are busy this time of year
  3. Never said I was gonna buy from them, and besides when someone is spending that much money can you blame someone for looking around? I am still really interested in going with the fast set up So don't think that quote name='FASTOYS' timestamp='1327964724' post='1307662'] Most all good builders are very busy right now.. I thought we had you pretty well lined out in your other post "Cascade vs F.A.S.T." , via our pm's , and via our hour lonng phone conversation.... Guess not....? I sure hope that was not all for none.... Andy will get back to you and prolly tell you the same thing we said im sure.
  4. How hard is it to get ahold of Andy at m&m I called there Friday waited and then left him a voicemail to call me back and I never got nothing back??? Little disappointed I am wanting to build a serval or chettah cub just can't make up my mind !!!! Who knew it would be such a hard decision??? What are the power differences between the serval and cheetah?
  5. Thanks guys for the input got a little better understanding now!!
  6. Decisions decisions....what to go with

  7. can someone please explain what the difference between the cheetah cub and serval? i understand that one is for dune and one is for straight drag but are they the same cylinders do they just do more work to them to make it a cheetah? I dont wanna spend all this money and then get it together and be like yeah its a little faster i wanna get off the thing and be like WOW...
  8. Choke tube or make sure the slides are in the right carbs been there done that will it start If you give it full throttle ?
  9. just got off the phone with jeff from FAST and i think we got everything taken care of he said he can get me in a serval, he thinks that would be a better fit for what i wanna do with it. Thanks for all the help from everyone on here and to Jeff!!! So we just shall see what happens hoping to get at it soon.
  10. I'm sure he is a good guy it's just the customer service I got put a bad taste in my mouth, I would rather pay more and get answers maybe I'll try calling again and only talk to Jeff
  11. What's the difference is the serval cub and the other?
  12. chris at cascade quoted me 1800 for the set up and i have delt with them before, very nice guy to talk to, i called FAST the other day and tried talking to jeff and got someone else and sad to say i am kinda learning all this and i had questions and the answers i got were kinda like i should already know all this, and seemed kinda short with me, thats why i ended up calling casecade.
  13. ive messed with the setting some it just dont seem to do much of anything
  14. hey guys i was wondering everyones thoughts on going with either the cascade or FAST cheetah cub set up? Any thoughts on what set up is better, im thinking of going with a 4mil crank, didnt know who did a better porting job or overall better product?
  15. No I havnt ever been there never heard of it somthing I'll have to check out, I'm almost to the Indiana line over by defiance. Usually only go to silver lake, never have dragged but would like to quote name='BuckeyeShee21' timestamp='1327452669' post='1305666'] The one in norwalk is called firelands 4 wheelers. 300 foot sand strip and a motocross track. I never been there .
  16. Hey guys i was just wondering what is the eastiest way to test if they are shot? I have a 98 banshee and to my knowledge they are still stock shocks. The rear you can push down on the rear grab bar and it just takes is sweet ol time coming back up. Would just like some other input? Also it seems when i get on it there aint much suspention there kinda like the rear is almost bottomed out when i am on it?
  17. I'm in northwest Ohio I would be interested, I have a banshee nothing extreme but would like to drag it. Do they have different classes that they run or how they do it? Also what would the dates be?
  18. Yes I do have a clymer guess I didnt think to look in there, and we did set that screw up made sure of it, that is also brand new also is the star and the roller, so I hoping the forks will do the job.
  19. This may seem like a dumb question but i was looking on a OEM website for shift forks and it shows 13 twice and also a fork as 14, question do i need to order 2 #13's and a 14? I just wanna replace all the forks didnt know how many there actually were, the bike is a 98 and to my knowledge they are still factory. I just got done changing the shift shaft and it seems like it dont wanna shift at all i do is miss every gear, and ill be in a gear and it will just down shift on its own. Any other input would be good!!
  20. Had this problem after i had redone my whole shee and it ended up being there is a little switch under the fuel tank and when it is let out it stops sending spark so all its doing is dumping fuel with very little spark, mine would sit there and idle and if you gave it any throttle at all it would just make a horrible noise, sounded like a machine gun going off, and all we did was just follow the wire back and unplug it, somone had actually put a plug over the switch and taped it and it must of worked its way lose, and i had ran it like that for about 4 yrs with no problem at all, hope this helps ya out.
  21. Try a size smaller pilot, I got about the same set up as u but got jug work done
  22. running a 35mm carb, +5 timing and the intake is k&n open air filter. Also have VF3 reeds
  23. I got a 98 banshee just got i ported and polished its bored .40 over timing plate running single carb, my prob is i am having probs tuning it, i called cascade and they said i should try running t5's, i currently have FMF fattys. He was saying that the fmf isnt doing much for me, as i was telling him it seems like when i am at full throttle the bike feels like it should just have more there and it dont seem like im getting everything it has. Just wondering what everyone thought? Thanks
  24. i dont its a real agressive port job but i not real sure how to really tell, and have you ever done much with the transfer ports? i know he made the one side i wanna say exhaust smooth and the intake was just ported but left kinda rough
  25. Just got done doing a new set up over the winter bored it out its now .40 over went with a 2into 1 carb from cascade 35mm put vf3 reeds, got the jugs ported and polished and put transfer ports in adjustable timing plate. my question is that when we first started it up we could not get the thing to run at any throttle so we messed with the float level, well come to find out it was the TORS switch was messed up ( very dumb thing we over looked ) but we but it all back together and i am running a 42 pilot and a 230 main and it still seems like when i get in 6th its running out of fuel, my question is is there anyway when we messed with the float that it dont have enough fuel in the bowl to keep up or is the jug work to much for a 2 into 1 setup? also i believe the clip on the needle is on the first setting, also running at +5 degrees on the plate seems to start kinda hard should i move it back down a little?
