thanks, and at 15 yea i might be young turning 16 soon, i have a job and dont spend my money stupidly, i save it and i do read other posts on here alot and i have the full clymers manual and try to learn everything i can, my price range doesnt matter is what im saying because i will just save all my money while planning what to do out and when i have it all planned and know a final price and get enough money i will the build it, i dont want to go that crazy billet cases and crap, ive talked to some of them already ive looked everywhere at all theparts and stuff trying to find whats best and find what to do, and my suspension is already really good atleast i think, but i am next winter going through and buying new j-arms and a-arms and an axle and stuff, the j and a arms im getting from stellar, what is the best axle to get? and also its not going to actually be my trail bike i have rode it twice in trails and thats it, im looking for stuff to do next time i tear it apart when something goes wrong

what would be the next step with my motor first before i go that big, with my stock cylinders and crankcase what else can i do to anything on or in it to make it faster and better

i do dragrace i just figured i get that kind of porting first then if i want more just get it ported more, which will be the next time i rebuild it i will get it ported better and andrew thats what im talking about is what should i do next when it breaks down or something im not talking about doing it now

im looking for the best all around full time power and alot of top speed, i will be drag racing it, but i also ride it around my yard and down roads and stuff, and i can spend whatever i can save up over the years or whtever

my 1989 banshee is bored over to 65.50 with wiseco pistons,has hot rods long rod crank(+5mm)trued and welded, fmf gnarly exhaust with toomey t5 silencers,sparky cobra add ons, upp manifolds, boost bottle, cut plastics,carbon fiber gas tank and radiator cover,powder coated candy red frame, black plastics, twist throttle, pro taper seven eigths handlebars, cut off air box, w/ pro flow piece and k&n airfilter and pre charger, keihn 35mm carbs,barnett racing clutch, gearing is 14,41, cylinders ported for trail, piston windows ported, advanced timing plate +6 degrees, new rings, noss head and 19 cc domes, and vforce2 reeds brand new pedals, just put brand new rings and all gaskets/ seals in it and a new throttle cable. i want more power what else should i do no matter the cost right now looking to have as much power as possible while staying under 400ccs for drag racing

thats what i was going to do next winter is save money and re do the suspension, but i have j-arms, where can i find actual good all around riding ones

its fine, ive been riding quads dirtbikes gocarts, and snowmobiles since i was 2, i had a 600 tripple that would do over 120mph even with me and another friend on it, it was a bigger sled a two up, and im looking to go faster on my banshee than what that snowmobile would do, ive rode raptor 700s yfz 450 quads, built yz 250s that most people would be scared to and would probably kill there selves on it, im all about speed and love it, my dad wont even ride my quad tho and says its f*ing fast. it doesnt seem very fast to me right now but it still needs to be jetted in and im going to change the front sprocket way down

oh alright well thanks i guess we will see what happens, im ting into drag racing anywhere i can for trophys and stuff ive already won one my first drag race 2cd place against about 30 other people, made a 30yrld guy mad cause im 15 and beat his banshee lol, but a built yfz450 beat me by not even a quad length i was right there on him so i built it a lil more by doing the timing+6* porting cylinders and piston windows, put vforce reeds in, noss head 19cc domes had my crank trued and welded and all gaskets seals replaced and rings and the reed pedals, about a grand in work done over winter, i had jeryy a guy i know pretty well owns his own little buisness and seems to know everything about banshees do all the work on it, it does an awesome job atleast it looks awesome and he always gives me good deals, but it doesnt seem much more powerful with all that stuff done, idk if its cause my front sprocket is so big that you cant tell from that or cause im running premium instead race fuel or what? also about how much hp would it be with all the stuff on it, i was told only 55-60 is this correct i thought it would be more than that -

trail porting cylinders and opening piston windows more $200, whole motor tear down and inspection, check the carbs and jetting $100, advanced timing plate + installing it $50, all gaskets being replaced $35.60, crank sent in to be trued and welded $92= $477.60 all done by Jerry. parts I'm buying and installing, Noss heads with 19cc domes= $287 w/shipping either srp ram air reeds for $170 or im finding some vforce2s, the srps are supposed to add 1.5hp over the vforces tho brand new rings $68 all oils and antifreeze about $25 total cost around $1027.60 -

well my dad measured wrong he said it wasnt bored over but when i ran the piston numbers its bored 60 over already with a hot rods (+5mm) long rod crank, so now this is what im doing, ported for trail,vforce3 reeds, noss head need help on the size of domes i should get, what size should i go with i run premium all the time and racing fuel sometimes if i have the money,im also getting the billet water impeller and drive gear,and a adjustable timing plate, im also replacing the rings on the pistons cause the pistons are still good so i wont replace them yet -

to get it bored and everything to the piston size im getting is $130, the pistons like i said are $195.95,the piston kit includes everything i need for the top end rebuild, which after those are paid for like i said ill have around $400 thanks everyone for the help this is what i planned out so far with the money i have and i can get other things done later but for now bored 40 over which will cost $130, top end rebuild kit $195.95, the with the other $400 dollars, crank trued and welded about $50, vforce3 reeds $220, whole motor gasket kit $30, stainless steel allen screw kit $16, billet water pump impeller and drive gear $69, ill be left with $45 which for now ill not plan to do anything with cause also i need to calculate shipping costs, and if i need something else when i get the motor completely torn apart. plus ill be getting more money for that just incase stuff.
