  1. umm... What? I couldn't understand any of that.

What ? if you can smoke the tires its not your clutch its prob just running like shit in the higher rpms because its too lean for the cooler weather or something else happened...havbe someone who knows what they are doing come check it out for you...ask around man, someone has to know someone near you...if your clutch was shot, i dont see how you could burn the tires off...

Youre not that far from me dude, pm me and ill give you my number, or you have my email too...well figure it out...

  2. You didn't climb the Glen Burn 4 years ago. You prolly got your big coal banks confused. Hell, you lived 50 miles away.

meat...i'm going to say you're right for now because i hate drama...I guess i'm going on a burn ride when i get up there to figure everything out...I've never seen people so sensitive about a pile of coal. Like when i first started climbing in h-town, there was like nobody there, now that the hills are beat theres people from all over the place riding there, it sucks...we did move around and find alot of new hills, make new hills and we were from freeland, to mcado, tamaqua, coaldale, ashland, centralia, shamokin trevorton, hell i bought like 6 trucks from troys auto sales in dornsife, my great grammy live right on 61 in shamokin when i was really little, but i still dont know the area well...one thing i know is i can climb. I'm not a moron, i have a 5 year old son who i want to watch grow up, so i'm not really out to prove anything, but i will come have fun and if anyone can climb something, i guarantee i can...well, theres some dirtbike climbs that are nearly imbossible just because of the vee at the top, but if its wide enough for 4 wheels, fuck it...

  3. I agree. This guys a stroker. If someone climbed the Glenny in 06 the whole town would have seen. End of story, someone would have saw. We've been climbing hills for years. I would have herd if you climbed the Glenny on a atv.

thanks for all the kinds words fellow pennsylvanians !!! :yank:

  4. back when my quad had nothing on it but t6's and pod filters, i would beat every ds that i would drag at pismo. from stock to piped. never lost to one except for a group of 3 guys that had alba racing ds's that were quick!

Damn 4-pokes are makin some torque these days, came a looooong way from warriors and 400exes, but i'm just going to say look at the size of the engines, 870cc ? really ? Drag an 870cc banshee on the bottle then...no chance in hell....end of story. I never raced a ds650, but I'm sure they rip, i rode one of those 8004x4 jobs with the big 3 and it was definately impressive for a noise maker, he was neck and neck with my 700xx, but my shee feels a hell of alot faster than my 700...

  5. i hope i see you when you come in the spring to see if your big mouth only runs on the computer your the one that said 06 not us you didnt climb it in 06 so stop running your yap learn to read asshole i said you did not do it in 06 i dont care who did what the hill is easy

Dude, I dont know exactly what year it was...like my friends are like let's go ride tomorrow and i write it on the calendar to make sure i dont forget it and i make sure someones there to record it so i can talk shit to someone who moved 9 hours away to visit his family who i dont even know...Asshole huh...yeah, thats pretty much me...I'm sorry i didnt realize sooner how much beter you are than me and the rest of the boys from the greater hazleton are who climb the balls out of all those hills just because you happen to have a camera when you climb...how much shit have you personally done or seen happen with no camera...thanks for calling me names too...appreciate it and i'm looking forward to coming up myself.

  6. i would start with mantenance. unfourtunately, that is the problem 90% of the time. did you tune it with a hot engine, or cold? when it's cold, it's supposed to run like poo and bog, etc....and you need to use the choke when properly tuned.

x2 on the maintenance, go through your carbies...

Ak what did i do wrong on mine ? This is the first banshee I've ever had that I dont need to choke to start, i shit you not, the jetting is just about perfect, floats are new, levels are good, carbs are synced, etc...

  7. how many tubes of silicone does it take?

Ok sos, as i sez to youz guys yesterday, i went over to lowe's and got myself some 100% silicone caulking (man that stuff smells AWESOME) And i filled my renthals. Iactually let the silicone and the bars set in the sun, put the sniper barrle on my WD-40 ans shot some in ther, figured it may slide in and fill better warm and lubricated, but who knows, I just put duct tape over one end and used a wood clamp to secure them standing on end to the corner of my parts washer cart. I went outside, got the caulking, threw it in the gun, clipped the tip and filled it slowly with a few full pumps, watched it go down, did it again, it seemed to settle pretty good, so i stuck a plastic bar end in there, flipped em, took the tape off and filled them and let it settle, i bought 2 tubes of dap 100% silicone, but it only took one and i'm pretty satisfied that thier pretty solidly filled, I waited about 2 hours for them to dry a little and just stuck them back on....

I rode a little bit today and yeah...i havent went crazy for hours or anything yet, but just going down the road and for a short trail ride and back it feels alot more solid...

I RECCOMEND IT, ITS DEFINATELY NOT SOMETHING YOUR GOING TO HATE OR THAT WILL MAKE YOUR BIKE WORSE AND A FEW OUNCES IS NOT ENOUGH WEIGHT TO DO ANYTHING AT ALL AS FAR AS HANDLING OR E.T. AND IMO SOMETHING THAT IS CHEAP AND HIGHLY EFFECTIVE.

    THANKS SAVAGE !!!

  8. well, if you want, grab your shifter and push it in-out to see how much play/wear is in the case where the end of the shift shaft sits against it. if there is a good amount of end play, like 1/16"+, then you can ditch the gasket and run some rtv sealant/gasket maker. a thin film will do. that's what i did with mine and had great results. the blue stuff is best, imho. I've tried different kinds, and it seems to hold where others wouldn't. it never really hardens. it's pretty simple to take the cover off. remove the kicker, rear brake lever, and peg/nerf mount. then, the #3 Phillips screws. you will likely strip it using a #2, and an impact driver, or valve laping compound will help to pop them loose. the pump will stay attached to the cover. just remove the clip on the inside, then gear/washer, and slide the keeper pin out the side. it's usually a real good idea to replace the pump bearing and seal at the same time. the cover can hang up on the water pipe o-ring during removal/install.

Thanks for taking the time to explain the process better AK, i was in a hurry at the time...

I've used RTV on stuff from time to time as well, just make sure you clean all the old gasket material off and clean it with alcohol or aceton or mineral spitits or something, read the directions carefully, everyone just smooshes all the RTV out of the joint all the time, you need to run yourslef a nice thin bead as even as possible int the CENTER of the gasket surface and circle around all the bolt holes...put it on carefully not to disturb the bead and only tighten the cover retaining screws finger tight, wait about an hour for it to start setting up and crank em down in a criss-cross pattern...if any squishes out, you can wait a day or so for it to comletely dry and cut it of with a razor blade so it looks nice and tidy. I prefer gaskets, but i've turned bikes and atvs on thier sides so the oil is away from the cover and swapped out water pumps and clutch and kicker components with no problems...and most definately use the correct size screwdriver, nothing sucks worse than a stripped screw, if you dont have one, an impact driver is only like 15 bucks and the best investment you can make for working on fine thread screws in aluminum that are subject to temperature and weather, one whack and they always break loose, i use mine on screws that are completely rounded out, BAM!!! and they spin, its pretty much a miracle tool...

Good luck man...the billet impeller/new seal and bearing ARE worth it and i agree with the engine ice coolant, shit works WONDERS !!!, I had a temp guage on 2 different shees and both times i filled with engine ice, lowered the operating temp about 10 degrees or more, thats a huge difference for just changing coolant...

  9. I've sceen a few dirt bikes climb it back in the day, but thats it.

I agree 100% Meat. This guy needs to provide proof for me to believe it. As far as I know, Im the first quad to make it. I've got the video to proove it.

I have 2 pictures of me climbing EVER in all the shit i climbed man, i have one of me climbing the mile with a cowboy hat on and another of me at the top of big tit in crystal ridge coming over the top with bald as mus sharks, haha, i had to hang off the back of the thing with zero air pressure that day, i ripped a sidewall on my paddles and changed out quick so i could still ride...sorry i dont take a camera riding with me, i never even posted shit on youtube or anything till recently just for the fuck of it, i never joined here before either, not sure why, i was always working alot, i'm laid off now so i have time for it i guess...i'll find the 2 pictures i have and ill take pictures of them, or scan them and upload them ok...

  10. Holy fuck you little girls are quick to jump someones shit...you ever notice the 6 is next to the 9, i fuckered up ok, i guess my buddy never flipped his 421 making a new climb at mile hill either...he was prob up there not long ago...he had a black and monster energy kfx450r with an axle and houser arms that he just sold a few months ago...i climb and i have friends that climb, i dont live there but we trailered up there a zillion times, i prob met you guys before, dont break my balls, you sound like these guys from north carolina that tell me i'll never make thier little hills and then they think i'm nuts when i roll up them in 2nd like nothing...my shee needs about 2 grand worth of work to be big hill worthy, but in the spring, il be up there, stock ported jugs, stock swinger extended 4" and paddles or vampires or something climbing everything you guys are and trying new hills, i grew up in harwood mines outside of hazleton, i learned how to ride in the silts when i was 5 on a benelli 50, i have been out riding every weekend since, the peak, hell i used to climb the peak when it actually took skill, when i was a kid my dad used to take me out and watch dune buggies climb every weelend, now anyone who has balls can climb it because WE made a climb about every 5 feet around the whole hill and now its BEAT, stockton was pretty decent, tit mountain, poosas, thousand foot drop, about 100 other random pits and banks in h-town,sorry if you think youre the only ones in the world, but you're not...that area all along 61 has amazing and very dangerous hills, but thats what I do too...nice try at the bullshit thing tho, if i was full of shit, i might feel bad, now i'm just more motivated to get up there and get some good PA hydro and get my pizza and climb on, i fucking miss good italian food and pieroghi like you wouldnt believe, my mom just got back from a visit there and brought me farmers tea and a box of senapes pizza, i sat down and ate the whole shit in like 5 minutes...i even missed the fair this year, lol...like thats a bummer, you guys are good, but i can climb too, you'll see...

i think the shit you smell might be still in the air from that guy on the craptor...or is that your upper lip from all the shit you talk because i push a wrong button on a forum, i posted the wrong link on a forum and i typod a bunch of shit in the shoutbox the other day too, OMG...who gives a fuck, really...

  11. I climbed a few hills with 4-pokes and it really scares me raptors blow for climbing, 450rs are way better because of the power to wieght ratio and lower stance i think, but they still dont scream like a shee, if they bog and you have to downshift or slip the clutch, they get too much traction or not enough , i dunno, i feel alot fuckin safer on a shee, once your pinned and have momentum, not much is slowing you down as long as you keep your front to back wieght balanced with enough of your ass down to keep the rear tires planted and the front ones from coming over your head. Most of those hills are beat, so i like seeing you guys making new hills for when i come up to ride and applaud you because i am a peensylvania native for 27 years and i know the real deal, nothing inthe world is like climbing coal. The hard ones your front tires barely spin going up or they touch and go, people who never did it dont understand about the balancing act and feeling your momentum so you can turn around before you do what this knuckehead did...also i see people climbing standing on the pegs, thatsa good way to get shot off theside of a bank real easy too...ah whatever, guess ya gotta learn like this dope did, i flipped a few way back in the day...

  12. I just wasn't sure if the shee spindles and tie rods work with the 450 arms. The guy seemed like he doesn't know exactly what he's talking about. I swear to you he said he races in Philly and he's the fastest down there. I said what motor are you running and he said its stock with a k&N filter. After that I wasnt sure if he knew his shee only has the 450 arms and nothing more

Just make sure you swap him tierods too...ig hes a banshee dumbass, be careful to inpect it all really good and ask people sho have done the swap, ive heard good and bad things, i thinkk its a cheap way to imprve the stance and geometry slightly but there may be other issues...
