I just purchased my first banshee. It has the t5 toomey pipes. It is very hard to start and the only way we could start it is by using a little starting fluid. When it starts, the left exhaust blows much more smoke and has way more pressure than the left side. The seller told me the piston could be bad in that cylinder, BUT after taking the plastics off the bike i have come to a few conclusions. First of all, the radiator and the coolant reservoir are both empty. Also, the gear case was empty of oil as well(can someone please tell me which oil and how much to use as well as what type of coolant and how much to use?). So im guessing I should start by filling up the gear case, radiator, and coolant. Also, Should I change the spark plugs?
Also, I looked at the carb on the side that is bad and it looks like it is missing a fuel line that points to the rear end of the bike. Last question, what kind of fluid should i put in the radiator and how much?
Thanks so much,
mike
