  1. Sprockets are the cheapest performance gain that you can make. Start with a 13 or 14 front and a few different rears like 40,41,42 with a 20in. rear tire and try them all. I have used many different combos over the years. You may have to take into consideration chain adjustability depending on the swingarm you are using. Your engine build will determine what you need. I had been using 14, 40 on the track but when I had to use my stock head and lost 1/4 of my compression the 13,41 was the better choice. A 15 would be used with a high performance build or 18in. tires.
  2. I would buy arms that have full adjustability. I bought a set of +3+1 Timmy Boy arms many years ago and they have held up very well. I like the Heim joint setup. I had Works dual rate shocks with res. To make them work with the arms I had them revalved and went to triple rate springs. It is a very comfortable ride but the shocks are at their limit. It was hard to handle until I got the caster, camber, toe dialed in perfectly. Never thought a Banshee could handle this good. I run irazr radial front tires.
  3. I have been using the Maxxis irazr tires on the front of the Banshee and Y450 for years. They are a radial tire and would be great on hardpack. High speed stability is great. I ride a lot of mx and I think you get a smoother ride over the bumps. I have about 1/3 tread remaining and still have good traction. The irazr rear tires are a very good tire also.
