  1. Your better off doing a .10 over bore/hone and getting a full new rebuild than just sticking new pistons and rings in it
  2. Fuck all that
  3. if I were you I would call a sight sponsor and they will make sure you have everything you need
  4. The CPI is very close to the rockets. They are both a great trail pipe on the 421 serval
  5. Redline is shipping mine to me in a rubber made tote and they sent it ups
  6. I had t5s on my FAST 421 serval for awhile and then switched to rockets. The t5s had lots of low end power but it rev'ed out way to quick for me. I was having to shift stupid quick and I couldn't goose the throttle without being in the power. The rockets were much much smoother on my serval, much easier to feather and putt around in the tight trails and I never lacked power. Also with the rockets, it was much easier to drag with my buddies because I could rev out a lot longer
  7. How is your spark? How's your jetting? Have you checked compression? Filters clean?
  8. Dosnt look like we will be 75* anytime soon
  9. Redline just finished my 10mil serval and redline also did the promod tranny for me as well. The 4mil serval I had was built by FAST and I got around 800 hours out of that setup without ever rebuilding it. Also Tyler clark ran my 4mil serval at the national championship hillclimb and took first place in the 0-450cc class
  10. Jeff at FAST or cam at Redline both know what they are doing and will take care of you. I would look into the serval if I were you. My 4mil serval smoked the hell out of 450s and 700s lol
  11. Looks sweet... I'll be ordering myself a copy
  12. I'm going to try starting with 22" ambush for rear and I'm thinking 16/41 gearing. I was running 16/41 on the 4mil with 20" tires so I'll try starting with just the tire size and go from there
  13. I'm going to get a set of snipers this spring. As far as selling the rockets, I would still like to play with them and see what they do unless someone makes me a good offer on them
  14. Have a preview of it? How long is it?
  15. I think I will be buying new pipes and maybe try and modify the rockets to run better up top?
  16. If finch does get back to you about them, he is a good dude and redline dose great work. I would not hesitate to buy from him. Also welcome to the sight and listen to the guys who have already posted, they are not steering you wrong. Hope you are ready to spend some $ because this is an addictive hobby lol
  17. If you want reliability you should do a 4mil serval. I had a FAST 4mil serval for a cpl years myself and it was great in the trails and hill climbs in the drags it would run with 4mil dune port stock cyl just fine and my serval only had a clean up port. It had power ALL over the low end. A 421 cub is basically a drag ported serval and is geared more for drag racing. If you were to do a 421 serval you would get about 70-75hp out of it with a clean up port. I had mine with rocket pipes, +4 timing, cool head with 24cc domes, 35 pwks, vf3 reeds and upgraded clutch. It ran amazingly well, never had a problem, and I got about 800 hours on it. I spent aprox $2500 on all of that and never regretted it. Jeff at fast did an amazing job for me. Now i am just about done with a 10mil serval from redline but that is another story. But you will also want to consider front and rear suspension (a-arms, swing arm, and shocks) and upgrade all of that at the same time, it is well worth the $$$. After all of that is said and done you need to be ready to spend $3500-$4000 I would estimate. But the nice thing about it is that once you do all of that you are set up pretty decent if you ever want to do a 10mil build. Also I would do a dual pingle for sure and you may consider a pro mod tranny, shift shaft and star mods and possibly a lock up clutch. I did not do the tranny, shaft, star or lock up with mine but it is a good idea to do if you ever want to go bigger or port the serval any. Hope this helps man
  18. I ran stock petcock for awhile as well and had no problems with it. I did change to a dual pingle just for peace of mind.
  19. Wow I know what pipes I like!!!
  20. Motor is supposed to be on its way back on Monday!!! Guess I better finish the chassis lol
  21. I ran a 48 pilot and a 160 main for riding in 50* weather on my old serval
  22. I'll take it. Pm your paypal please
