  1. I wonder what that will do for power delivery compared to previous ones he built.
Anyways, I sure hope you have some very wide trails with long straits and very wide turns. Otherwise you will be under the powerband the most time.
Go no longer than a stock length swing arm.
Going with BBIF shearers, sniper or LED? I find shearers are high strung on the engine. But Id assume he will set up your power delivery different from mine. Mines more open field play stuff.

That's how mine was built. Ported before plated

  2. You adjust the carbs accordingly to your modifactions.
Depending on your mods I'd start with mains an needle position, but you try get your all your jets dialed in in no particular order.

  3. Depends on what ur looking for. After my build i found that ny motor drank gas AND i was running 110. Not a good combo on a trail motor. So i switched to pump gas ( from 180 psi to 150) and went to stockers.   Lost some peak hp and a little torque but who cares?  Still 70+ hp and 40+ torque on an unported motor and my gas milage rocks now.  Dont be afraid to run the 28s.  If u do run the 35s dont set it up for race gas like i did.

With 35s, you're going to get about 6mpg. True story

  5. Any benefits to a neutral down promod trans setup?  Just sent my transmission to redline and not sure if it's something that would be beneficial.  I only ride at glamis sand dunes.   Running the hill and duning.

I have one, not a big fan. I like to down shift all the way and be in 1st not N. I use first to slow me down quicker
