Im taking my stock stroke banshee (bored with cool head dune port on pump gas) still in shop getting the port work.......my cousin is bringin his kx500 (dirtbike) I dont think I have enough bike to compete with him but I was wondering what I would need to beat him also wanna get him set up in a drag with a shee that would make a good race.....im not seeing to many stock strokes going from the list on here guess I gotta step my game up.

Well i was looking at my funds and decided since im going to have it apart might as well port and polish an get the cool head. I want to run pump gas on it 91 or 93 octane and im thinking about getting 20cc domes would that be best or should i go with a different size. Im taking the bike to the shop this afternoon. As far as the cool head goes are all the brands pretty equal on reliability and what not? Thank you for the info.

Thank you for your reply. It has the stock head on there so the pattern should be on there I need to buy me a shop manual for this bike. The bike puts out 52hp on the dyno at little sahara with the mods i have right now and i was planning on taking the jugs to rage atv in splendora TX to get them dune ported and polished so this seems like an ideal time to do so and also replace the head with a cool head.

So this july 4th weekend we took a trip to little sahara in oklahoma and the last day i noticed that i was missing a head bolt on the top left. I do not know how long the shee was rode before i noticed it......i know i only rode it back to camp and parked it and rode the backup bike afterwards. How difficult could it be to replace the stud (like just place a new one in there and torque it down or loosen all of them and retorque) and where could i find the torque pattern on the internet for when i fix this problem. Thank you for any helpfull information.

Definitley had to push my shee home once coming home from the gas station with a full gas can for obvious reasons, good thing was i was three houses away funny thing is i would have had to do it anyways ran out of gas! Cop told me now when you fill it back up i better not see you on this street!

Hopefully it stays around the 90s we have had temps of 98 the past couple of weeks but i think we may be doing more night riding! My group is headed out tomorrow after we all get off work so hopefully we get there early friday morning got an 11 hr drive. Hope to see you out there saturday.

Annona Texas? is this like a free riding place i looked it up and could not really find any info on it.....already made reservations for a house in the dunes though dont want to pay the cancelation fees on that one.

Ya your probably right about it being cooler than Houston. I checked it out sounds like a good time if I have the time and days off I would like to go to that its a pretty far drive but worth it.
