  1. Nobody has hooked one of these sync tools to there bikes? Its the type with the rubber hoses, brass style fittings the yamaha 6mm adaptor kit??????????????????????
  2. I am wondering where the (best, easiest, and hopefully requires no drilling) spot to tie in to the intake for the motion pro carb sync tool. I want to go riding tomorrow so any hepfull comments as soon as possilble woould be greatly appreciated!!!! I am so close to beating my buddys 450 TRX lol.... Also any tips on syncing if at all possible Thanks.
  3. A few days ago I posted a topic 85% dailed in... So today I got to try out the new senario with my bike just a recall of whats done for aftermarket parts FMF sst Pipes Powercore2 siliencers k&n boisen pro series reeds air box lid on/snorkel off Boost bottle Jetting that I tryed today was 280 main 27.5 pilot stock needle air screw 2 turns/ tryed 1.5/1.0/2.5/3.0 elavation 2100ft/temp 70f The jetting seems pretty good according to the plugs, but the mid low rpm is bossigh, and sluggush of idle to WOT. If anybody has good input for the next step to figure this out other than the air screw, cause Ive tryed It would be really appreciated! I also tryed taken the air box lid right off, and it seems to have a louder more drawn out bog. If anything the plugs are a tiny bit lean, I know richer on stock needle never works for me, what about trying a dyno jet needle stage 2, if so what notch? or up the mains again?
  4. Thanks for the input! I have 280 dynojet mains, but aren't they sized a bit different than the mikunni jets? I have tryed bigger when I took my lid off and wit just the pipes, no other of the listed mods. How much more should I jet up if I want to take the lid right off? I do have 300's and 310's should I try those with the lid off?
  5. my mods are as listed FMF gold series sst powercore 2 siliencers Bossien pro series reeds boost bottle k&n with lid on and snorkel off Jetting Spec's 220 main 27.5 pilot stock needle third notch air screw 2 turns elevation 2100ft /temp 60-80 f Recently I had 200 mains/stock pilots/ third notch clip/ 2 turns out on airscrew - I was running just the pipes with the airbox lid and snorkel on. none off the other mods were added, and the bike was running good but obvisiuosly lacking due to the airbox lid on. The plugs were looking nice at this time. When I added the reeds, boost bottle, and k&n and removed the snorkel, then this is the sequence of the jetting that worked best- 220main,27.5pilot and 2 turns on the air screw with the stock needle remainin the same third notch The bike seemed to run very good, but I'm a little lean. response right at idle will bog if you pin it imeddiately, but if you just rev it up a bit first before crackin her hard its excellent response off low idle while riding is excellent respones on mid at low idle is a little bit boggish, but if your up in the rpms in mid its very good. WOT response is good but I am concerned I am to lean The plugs look chocolate brown on the electrode and slightly colored on the based. My question is no doubt that I should richen it a bit....seems like it would be good to start in the mid to see if that helps. Every time I tryed to go richer in the mid by clip setting it never works. I do have different needles from a dyno jet stage two kit will these work with mikunni jets or are they made only for dyno jets? I was also thinking about upping the pilot one to a 30. Since I noticed the best results from changing the stock pilot to the 27.5? What do you guys think? Carb since is excellent I forgot to mention. I appreciate any helpfull answers. and yes I do need to try a plug chop but am wanting to do that when I am closer to being dailed in. I
