  1. I am selling my Yamaha Banshee Yfz 350

    Its a 2001 Banshee

    This is a rolling chassis complete with everything except the engine, I have all of the plastics a complete set of blue blastics and a pair of front red and a rear red plastics , it has a stock exhaust aftermarket front bumper aftermarket reat bumper, the frame has been painted black, it has steel braided front brake lines, all brakes are blead properly and fully functioning i will include chain and other parts i have laying around for it, Also has a seat it is purple but in good condition and can easily be reupholstered

    asking $800 or best offer i really want this bike gone asap i need room

  2. Thanks everyone ...I will try it out tommrow on the adjustments...tommrow when I get my bike bak

    ok update i got the bike back. i kick it over..check the thumba adjuster and i also checked the height of the cables goin into the top of the carbs. and there all ok.. but in order for me to shut the bike down or get decent idle i gotta cover both carbs but while just hovering over the mouths of the carbs my hands get soaked with fuel. any ideas ??

  3. What's up hq another jetting and carb question. Ok before when I installed the new parts on to te shee... it was 28mm pwks 148 and 48 jets,vforce 3 reeds,new intake boots and new clamps. After kicking the bike over 2 times it would start but idle really high, so I thought I had a leak, I resealed everything but the bike still idles high as hell setting on the adustment screw are to spec and then some after some tweaking . But I still can't get the bike to idle correctly . Do you think it could be the jets ? I livee on statenisland if anyone is close leave me ur info. Thanks a lot

  4. this isn't a walkthrough but basically the end result. you need to follow the plug chop steps, then cut the threaded section of the plug away so you can see the center, very carefully using a hacksaw or dremel. i removed the whole thing just to see if it was consistent all around, cuz sometimes it's not and you need to go a little bigger on the mains. get a stock of plugs because obviously it destroys the new plugs, but a few dollars in plugs is well worth it vs. engine failure. this is basically what you're looking for, about a 2mm light chocolate colored smoke ring

  5. whats goin on HQ.. got a jetting question..im runing 48 pilot and 148 main....on a basically stock motor only mods are it's been bored over .030 , 28mm pwks , and FMF pipes. im located in staten island NY and dont know my elevation . but was wondering if those jets were ok to use on this set up. im noob with this whole carb and jetting situation. the bike had 35mm pwks but i traded for some smaller carbs and they didnt come with jets. let me know what you think..

  7. we need to know your filter setup, elevation, and riding temps to get you close.

    i have 2 k&n seperate filters and riding temps ( do you mean the temp outside) or the engine temp. as far as elevation im not sure i live in staten island new york...lol as u can see ima noob with the whole tuning thing..

    also i think there was a clearance issue wth the carb on the left. cause the bottome of the bowl was welded but they work perfectly fine, i just need somthing smaller.

  9. whats up hq?> i was just wondering. i got a set of 35mm pwks and the motor is basically stock, only mod on the motor is that it was bored over .30.. basically what im asking is im broke and cant afford another set of carbs.. would it be bad if i ran these carbs on this set up or is it gonna be a pain to tune them for such a stock set up. ???

  10. You want the crossover tube and intakes? Ive got it all. Do you have the tors still. I have either cable. Cable is new if you dont have tors.

    iv got a set of 35mm pwks for trade for some smaller 28mm carbs. if you have anything that coms with a thumb throttle, i was wondering if u were interested in a trade. straight up. but i'd also buy those other parts from u..(intake pipe and itake boots ) oh and also.. im looking for the bracket that bolts to the engine case that holds the clutch cable in place.. let me know thaks
