That record was set when I was just getting started, I would love to see what a hand coned Sniper would do on Jason's bike, built for his engine.

J-Madd told me Jason Menz's record setting bike had a modified small bore RDZ OOF pipe, but what does he know about that? Also Rob @ RDZ told me Jason Menz's bike had a RDZ small bore OOF pipe on it when it set the record, and its on his web site, but what does he know?

Cory, Last month the local dyno shop I use Sandtrax (918-445-4153) dynoed a their customers cast 421 cub with 28 PWK's on gas, it made 89.75 HP with the standard Sniper IF. Ed said the engine was rich safe.

The (sponge off of everyone else) membership you have does not have one or you can't read, but reason for not being a paying member is the very same reason you cannot give any first hand feedback. You boasted about posting dyno sheets from 3 reputable builders, lets get them posted. Dyno feedback from RDZ (you know, that guy that really does have the record setting pipe for 300 feet) and Passion tells me Sniper IF makes much more power than Shearer IF on their engines.

Rob does do good fab work. Fresh off the dyno, his big bore pipes made 3 more horsepower than Shearer and his small bore stamps are on the fastest cub with a record. So he knows a little bit about pipes and what is real.

You being dana's husband and builder, it easy to see why you don't understand. Two stroke engines are designed at the crankshaft. Everyone knows but you, the losses through the transmission, chain and rear axle have to be added back in. That number is 19 percent on atv's. Passion has posted a 465 gasoline video and dyno sheets of a 200+ BMEP engine at the crankshaft, the engine made 113.78 hp at 9400 rpm, that is 201 BMEP at the CRANKSHAFT on gasoline. Do you not know the temperature during combustion is 4000 Fahrenheit and the exhaust is the hottest during blowdown and then cools progressively until the exhaust port closes? Having an average exhaust temperature of much more than 1000 degrees Fahrenheit will melt the pistons. But the short time the piston is exposed to 4000 degrees during combustion and the short time of blowdown, the pistons do not melt. It is quite normal for Passion cubs to outrun DM's, even his 421 servals put it on some big DM's, or at least that's what I saw at the last HQ ride.

If you 12 people think so highly of PS records and how its so important to run there, why do none of you run the pipe that has the record covered for 3 classes, RDZ. Its the fastest set of pipes until the 576-650 class.

If someone had asked long before now about getting ten more HP that was halfway civil as you are now, we would have told you how to get it. The dyno sheet posted with 10 more HP was on gasoline, the engine needs to have an air/fuel ratio between 13.2 and 13.7, the engine load must be the same at peak horsepower on both pipes, the Snipers need a 2 teeth smaller sprocket on the rear to make them mph the same as Shearer because they peak at an earlier rpm. When put on an a engine that makes .24 or more hp per cc on gas, you will see your 10 hp. The margin of hp gain on a cast engine (.2 hp per cc) is very small, as the engine becomes more efficient, the split between the two pipes will be more obvious. Snipers are tuned to 200 BMEP at the crank and 716 Celsius during blowdown.

camatv has said he will do a complete performance evaluation on several of his engines with Sniper pipes, if cam tested Sniper in-frames to Shearer in-frames from everything from seat of the pants to et slips from the new track in Eldorado. Who will disagree with his findings??????? For the twelve goobers that don't get it, Sniper is a fast IN-FRAME DUNE PIPE. cam, if you are still interested in doing the test, let me know.

The BBDR 431 to 525 champion (class#60) Brad Painter (Banshee 332) runs Sniper Pipes, He won the championship by 270 points racing against Shearer pipes, and did not even attend the last race of the year due to his enormous lead in the points. He won 6 of the 10 races and like I said, did not even race in the final race. Brad won one race and placed second in the championship in the open class (class#89), racing DM's on alcohol and nitrous with his 465 cub on (GASOLINE), most all of his competitors had Shearer pipes. Brad looks to be around 190 pounds and yes he does race against jockeys every week, he is able to win because of his brutal top end pull and MPH along with the no chance of bogging that Passion Racing engines provide. http://www.bbdrdirtdrags.com/files/2012_Points.pdf

The don't think the builders race will fizzle out this year like it has in the past. Bring your video cameras to the 2013 BHQ ride. Anyone with videos of Sniper piped bikes racing Shearer piped bikes, please post win or lose and also post any emails of bribes for not posting dyno sheets, that was funny. All that don't like my thread should stop tuning in. For the rest of the civil people, lets plan a race.
