34mm Mikuni Flatslide Carbs and filters
SS14PSI replied to SS14PSI's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Ohhh wow I just found this post after I replied to your PM. How nice of you to bash me like that out in public BEFORE you even ask for a refund. I have bought and sold hundreds of parts on multiple forums, plus ebay. I have NEVER had a bad transaction as either the buyer OR seller. For you to call me out like that without even a cross word in PM's is absurd. Now, I'm no professional mechanic but I can do most things related to a two stroke. Carb stuff is NOT one of those things. Of course I can make the adjustments, but knowing which adjustments a carb needs is not something I'm a pro at. I bought those carbs here on this forum. They worked just fine on my bike and I put only about 3 sand trips on them before taking them off. The only reason I took them off is because I bought a complete motor/carb/pipe setup from a friend. As I told you in the PM I sent just before reading this; Before my last sand trip I had the bike dyno tuned because it just didn't run that well. Here is that PM--- There was absolutely nothing wrong with the carbs at all. I would even encourage you to call them and ask (if they remember the bike I guess). I originally had just a trail ported motor, otherwise stock with FMF pipes and a Trinity single carb kit. I put Shearer pipes on it along with nice billet intakes and those Mikuni's. It always ran great with the first setup. In fact, I ran that setup without a hiccup for about 5 years...changed plugs once or twice. It was NOT happy with the new setup, which is why I had it dyno tuned at Adrenaline. They said that the pipes and carb setup just did not match well at all with the porting. They had it running good, but nowhere near it's potential. It idled just fine and actually would idle all day long. It just didn't have the power that it should and the bottom end was lacking too. They said that there was nothing wrong with the carbs though, and I asked that specifically. They recommended I either go with their top end porting or go back to the FMF/single carb setup. So it boils down to this; You sent me a PM saying that you were having trouble getting your bike to idle down. I responded and we sent a couple back and forth. I'll be happy to copy/past them here if need be. So then you completely OUT me here in this thread and say that I sold them not as described. What a shiesty ass move dude, seriously! July 7 12:32 PM -- you PM'd me and asked for a refund. July 6 12:07 PM --you wrote that ridiculous post saying that I sell junk. Let me remind you, I've NEVER had a bad transaction as a seller, ever. For you to try and tarnish my reputation like that before ever giving me a chance to make it right is complete bullshit and makes me question your character. The carbs idled perfectly fine on my bike. Now I wonder what the hell you did to make them not idle on yours. -
Yeah what's your budget and what mind of motor are you looking for? I just put in a complete Vito's motor and removed my stock one, which will be for sale soon. It's got a trued/welded crank, wiseco pistons on stock bore, mild trail port and milled head...nothing spectacular, just a good clean setup with about 20 hours on the whole thing. I may even have the receipt for the work. It should be ready to sell in a week or two and I'll be listing it here. It's complete with all covers, intakes, etc, ready to bolt your carbs on and go. PM me if you're interested.

For sale is a good used set of Mikunis. I bought them here on the forum and ran them on my bike. I just got a whole new motor/pipe/carb setup so I have no need for them. They are in good working condition. The outerwears are not included, I'll need them. $210 shipped in the lower 48. For fastest response email me at [email protected]

Nearly new set of Shearer pipes. They only have 4 or 5 rides on them. The last ride I was wearing my over the boot MX pants and they melted to the pipe a bit. You can see it in the pics. I don't have the time (OT at work) to clean it off, but I'm positive it can be done because I've done it before. These are in fantastic shape. $420 shipped anywhere in the lower 48. For absolute fastest response, email me at [email protected]

I used this setup on my bike with FMF pipes for years with great results. I recently went to a different setup, so this is for sale. Comes with what you see, the Carb,K&N Filter and 2-1 manifold. It's a bolt on setup that's ready to go (after a good cleaning of course). I just pulled the stuff off and haven't cleaned it up yet. Bike is garage kept 24/7 and only ridden in sand. I'll do $250 shipped and insured.

Make an offer boys -
-Like the title says-- A set of FMF Fattys with USFS approved Turbine Core 2 spark arrester silencers. -I restored my Banshee and bought these silencers brand new. They have ONE ride on them. At the same time I cleaned up the FMF pipes and kept using them. They are still in good condition and have never given me an issue. The pictures of the pipes OFF the bike were taken today. I didn't clean them yet or anything, just straight off the bike. The pictures of the pipes ON the bike were taken 2 rides ago. They look a little dull but look great once they're bolted on the bike. I want $250 shipped for the set. Make offers and don't be shy. These WILL go to the best offer. Paypal/check/money order/whatever is good for payment and I don't need any trades Banshee related. I'll ship UPS insured. Fastest/easiest contact is email [email protected]

Yup.....solid buyer right here guys.

Whoops...I'm certainly no machinist haha! It'll have to due for now, it's all I got. You can keep your $80, thanks for the offer though.
