  1. Hey I have a question. Im going to get one of ur radiator kits from u but also. I need some 20 or 18x11-10 tires for asphalt drag racing. I am trying to find some used ones since I will be doing alot of work to the bike and just need something to get it tuned and running right. I see in your sig u guys have a giant stock pile of tires. Anything that will work for me? Thanks
  2. ok one more question, what is the benfit on going +2 forward or out over the stock A arms?
  3. Hey I have a reall Noobie question for you. For dragging on asphalt what style A arms are best? Forward or +2 out? Seems like there are quite a few different styles out there. Thanks
  4. Well shit man Im def going to go with a set of these. Shoot me a few more pics whenever you get the chance and Ill PM you after. Thanks
  5. Ok I gotcha. Man I have a little bit of experience with drag racing cars and trucks. With somethnig bigger the right spring load and shock firmnes is very important. Can u give me some insight to why u would want Struts like these with no give or adjustability on firmness or softness for a bike? Others have told me the same thing, to go with these, I just want to know the reasoning behind it. Thanks again man
  6. Well it has wheelie bars on it now. Ill be changing the frame quite a bit when I get home the guy who built it didnt care about looks much and it is UGLY. So Ill be cutting some off and redoing parts of it. Can u show me some pic of what u have available for sale?
  7. Are struts the best routefor asphalt drags?
  8. Whats up guys. I have a banshee frame with a cbr 900R motor in it. I am in Iraq right now and had the bike picked up by my dad the other day. It needs a ton of stuff done to it. But my question in here is, what would be the best route for me to take on the suspension. I plan on dragging it at the local 1/8th mi track. It is asphalt. I seen drag struts on ebay? Is this a good option? I dont plan on spending a ton of money on this thing its just for fun, but I do want it to perform well on the strip. Thanks for the help guys.
  9. Oh it is def ugly no doubt about that. Im sure Ill have several questions for you guys when I get home. I should have it looking much better shortly after I get home.
  10. Whats up everyone Im new to the forum and 4 wheelers in general. Had some street bikes in the past. Im currently in Iraq and had my pops go pick this bike up for me the other day. Its very ruff but I got a good deal on it and it should be a fun project. My first plans for it are to clean up all the wiring, get rid of the huge ass radiator and replace it with a stock banshee one, Cut the large hoops out the frame and replace it with straighter bars that bolt in so I can remove them to pull the motor, replace the shocks and chain. I then plan to run it on a 1/8 mi track the rest of the summer, Ill be home in July sometime. Then this winter tear it all apart powder coat everything and rebuild the motor while polishing everything up real good and throw new plastics on it. So give em your input, criticisms and thoughts. Thanks and some of you have some bad ass bikes!! Well it wouldnt let me upload any pics so here a link to the other site where I posted the same thread. http://forums.atvdragracers.com/topic/8093-bansheecbr-900r/
