So the needle clip in the middle position? Is that where it is located for stock?

**Update** The bike has plenty of power on top end. ALOT of power. No sputtering on 1/2 throttle+. When starting out it idles rough and wont idle at all, you have to keep on the throttle to maintain idle. Also in low throttle you can hear popping from muffler. It is like single pops not puttering.

I just rejetted my banshee and put aftermarket pipes and silencers on it as well (FMF Fattys with Power Core 2 Silencers) Main jets are 290 and pilots are at 30. It started right up however it is putting out quite a bit of smoke. It wont idle and just shuts down when you let off the throttle. I did ride it around the yard and it just had no power at all. Even when I kicked it once it made a real loud pop. So what do you all think is wrong? Im new to the banshee world and trying to learn but this has me baffled. First off I know I am supposed to turn the air screw out 1 and a half turns. I believe I have done this. Is this the screw located on the TORS boxes on top of the carbs? Or are they located directly on the side of the carbs? What are the big screws on the TORS boxes? If you need any other info to help diagnose please let me know and I will post what I can......thanks!!!!

Thanks for the read, that i s a good article. As far as purchasing does it matter what stage jets I get? I see that have Stage 1 2 and 3. Would stage 2 be to much just for aftermarket pipes and silencers?

Anyone have any suggestions? Im new to jetting so I want to make sure I do it right. I checked the stickied thread on others with similar setup and it looks like I should go with 290-300 mains? What about pilots? Air screw 1 1/2 turns out?

I just bought a set of FMF Fatty Pipes with Core 2 Silencers. What setup should I run here in Virginia? Its about 18Ft above sea level here. The bike is stock at the moment.

Yea $2500 is a little more than im looking to spend lol. As far as rejetting goes what do you recommend? I live in Virginia. Any type brand better than others? Dynojet?

What does it typically cost to have it stroked and ported?

Hey guys I am new to the Banshee world. A little bit about my background. I have owned Yamaha's all my life. Started out on the YZ80 and moved up to the big boy YZ250. I have been a dirtbike kinda guy until a few years ago. I went out and bought a Raptor a few months ago and now I have acquired a Banshee. I got it pretty cheap at $1600. I have started making some modifications to it to make it look a little better. Problem is tho the Banshee cant hang with the Raptor. The Raptor has been rejetted and has aftermarket pipes and is set up to race. Here is where my dilemma starts. The guy I bought the Banshee from left it stock. The only aftermarket mods it has is nerf bars and a grab bar. It does have a Uni airfilter. That is it. I want to mod it up a little bit so it can hang with the 660. Where should I start? I just bought FMF Fatty Pipes for it with Core 2 Silencers. I know im gonna need to rejet it. Other than that what else are things I can do that wont take to much time? I just dont know much about Banshees so I figured I would ask the experts :-D Here are some pics of the Banshee

I am currently looking for stock heel guards and plastic for my Banshee. I just got my Banshee last week from a guy and he had aftermarket nerf bars installed. I am looking to switch back to stock. Can anyone help me out? I would like to buy them from someone off here instead of ebay. Thanks guys!
