and you know this how?
-
neither one. use the correct sealer for cases if you don't want leaks. yamabond, hondabond, Toyota oil pan fipg.
don't use rtv on a banshee.
-
with the way the angled cross braces are on the lower arms, it would be stronger if the lower arms were on the opposite sides, try switching the lower arms side to side.
-
anyone want to make an offer?

make sure the gaskets are sealing the reeds good. I use permatex spray copper coat on mine. or when you were moving the carbs around the pilots got plugged. changing reeds should have not changed it that much.
-
racetech sells a complete stator with the pickup coil. around $150 I think.
run a ground wire from the coil bracket to one of the bolts on the trans case.
-
+4 timing plate would wake your shee up!! cheap mod to do. 30 pilot should be fine. also clean the carbs good.
-
were the petals new? mine started hard with the old petals in the v2s. do a leak down test to make sure the reed gaskets are sealing. you might go up one size on the pilot jet with your mods.

those keen serts are the best fix, helicoils suck. try looking up time serts they are similar to the keen serts, maybe less exspensive.
if you don't want to spend $ drill and tap the holes to 10mmx1.25 install a bolt with Loctite cut it off and drill and tap it to 8mmx1.25 . I have done this fix it takes time though to get it rite though.

Some aluminum intakes have the crossover built in. Some guys dont run any crossover.
-
Good advice ^ ride it first then during the winter you can build the motor

it will be cold. most places around there will be closed by then, off season prices will be good. September 8th and 9th is the last big week end there. a lot of the stores and restaraunts close after that week end or a open on certain days and times. do a google search on silverlake sand dunes and make some calls to the hotels and campgrounds. the only campground we do not like is the hide away. it sucks. the dnr site has a list of the rules. I don't think you'll need vouchers that late in the season
spark arrestors are needed.
dune flag, order them from david allen racing. web site.
orv sticker
state park sticker.
warm clothes.

yes they need to be ported for the 4mil to run strong,
