Hello Guys,
I have a project I have been working on that will be "easier" to use a Banshee motor vs a RZ motor.
My question is for the guys who have done some motor mods and I am willing to bet this is the place that will give me
the best answers.
If you were building a motor to use in a street bike chassis, and wanted it to not only be fun but last what would
you do? 4Mill? leave it stock? Port it, true the crank, coat the pistons with ceramic?
What I'm looking to do is have a 60-70HP motor that I know will need lots of love and attention, but not gernade every
weekend. Keep in mind that going all out will Kill fuel mileage and make it's use that much more of a pain.
I would like to see what my options may be and what you have found to be not the "best" motor layout but at least
a sound, efficent setup.
It will just be a second bike/toy and in a very light (190 lbs total) frame.
Any input is welcome!
Thanks
