  1. I just wanna throw it out there that the low rpm power lag is to an extent a normal sympton of two stroke engines. Four pokes on the other hand don't have this lag but aren't exciting like our banshees. Read on and goodluck bro.
  2. What a tragedy, she was so young...
  3. triffling! Haha. its all good, I think chicks on shees are smokin hot!
  4. Thanks bhq, administrators, sponsors, and members! This site is the mutha fuckin shit!
  5. That water was freezing!!! I didn't last half a minute with just my feet in! My bones started hurting because it was so cold haha. And I have sparkys on my my toomeys but diskoe1 is right, its more 2 wheel friendly. We tried to make the most of it but I eneded up eating it because I stopped in front of two big boulders and my right tire sunk into a ditch. No wonder everyone was looking at us weird haha. We eneded up leaving that night to gorman for the next day.
  6. Sup guys, I'm heading out to lake isabella this weekend and I'm not sure what to expect. Anyone ever ride out there? I know there's mx track close by and some trails but I'm under the impression that its more dirtbike friendly. Thanks.
  7. How do u put the clip back in?
  8. I pour 16oz into 5 gallons, I think that's 30:1 but correct me if I'm wrong. If I have too much fuel I should try going down on the size of my jets? Thanks fellas.
  9. Hahaha that's insane! Did u have yours welded on? How do you pull out the screens and replace them?
  10. Suup guys, just wanna give you a heads up on the toomey spark arrestor v.3. I installed these and ran them fine for a two day trip. The thing is that I recommend u service them after every trip. I went ridding sat may 29 and hadn't serviced them. 30 minutes into the ride I began to feel a loss of power in the top end. I ran for maybe 5 more minutes and the power loss became more noticeable so I decided to head back to camp. Maybe 2 minutes on the way back the bike felt totally trashed. It wouldn't rev into the power band, not even fast enough to ride in second gear, I barely made it up the trails and had to be pushed on one. Those 30 minutes out turned into over an hr trip to get back to camp. I cleaned out my carbs, changed my plugs, syncd the carbs again, my next guess were the arrestors but unfortunately I didn't have the tools to pull them out so I had to call it a day. I thought I had blown the engine but when I got home I took the sparkys out and replaced them with the stock silencer caps and shee was runnin like a champ again. All the carbon buildup in the screens ruined my day out so word to the wise, clean your spark arrestors.
  11. Haha cool man thanks. I was actually just gonna mail them out. And he probably does that to avoid paying taxes lol. Which is a smart thing.
  12. Haha I wasn't arguing with anyone bro. I asked peoples opinions and if my mind was made up before I started this thread maybe I was looking for someone to change it? I've actuallly been thinking about sending out my cylinders to herr juggs. Their website goes a lot more into detail about motor work and they have a reputation so those things actually mean something to me also.
  13. so the x chain is worth the extra ten bucks right? Again, Thanks a lot guys.
  14. Alright I found the site, but what's the difference between all the x ring, o ring, h ring, and etc?
  15. Tight, ill look into it but do you mean rockymountainatvmc.com?
  16. What's up guys, I'm planning on getting a new chain for my bike because mine has a lot of slack even with the adjustment all the way out, and I just got the back not long ago so I'm not sure what its been through. I have a stock swingarm but I don't know what to look for as in length or brand. What are u guys running and what do you suggest? Does the type of ridding I do matter when making a selection? If so I mostly ride dirt trails. Thanks a lot fellas!
  17. Holy shit!!! That's fucking insane! I'm sorry to hear bro.
  18. Sounds like the slides aren't aligned with the idle screws. They shouldn't be open all the way up. If you do manage to get it started its gonna rev like crazy! Take the tops off and make sure you align them right and get a compression tester and do a correct compression test.
  19. thanks man, I actually live in south gate haha right next to lynwood. I don't know where the owner lives, but the bikes under construction at the shop do look nice ass hell.
  20. That's exactly why I like those guys. They are local, they let me into the shop, which is one of the neatest ones that I've seen, and they even started up a bike for me. Ill let you guys know if I decide to go for it and when. Thanks.
  21. they said they do everything, including Powdercoating. They also said they've been building engines for years and they back their stuff 100%. I've got some motoquad stuff also. The cosmetic stuff is for the most part the same.
  22. That's a good way of lookin at it. Thanks guys.
  23. Yeah those looks solid, as well as their other billet stuff, but I was more concerned with their porting, boring, and all around engine building skills.
  24. Hey what's up guys, I joined this forum and got my first shee a few weeks ago but this is my first post. I know everyone is all for the site sponsors but I just want to know what your thoughts on R.I.S designs out of paramount ca. are. They are local for me and I've bought a few billet accesories from them so far. They seem like cool people to me and the shop and bikes they have look legit, but I just want to know if anyone has anything good or bad to say about them. Thanks a lot guys.
