  1. I can't believe nobody answered you. Shameful I say. I had Bills Pipes on a basically stock Banshee and they were great pipes. My elevation is 1200ft above sea level so comparable to yours. Start with 270 jets. This should be pretty close if not right on. You may need to go up a size depending on the filter setup. These are summertime #'s. If you live in the snow start with a 300 jet. If you don't jet for winter conditions kiss your pistons goodbye.

  2. I ride in jeans, shorts, and anything else I have around. Never ride in MX boots because shifting simply sucks. I never burnt my leg. My pipes don't even come close. I think it comes down to rider size. I'm 6 feet tall, 180lbs and I sit far back on my seat.

Baby wipes is the way to go

  3. I pumped 20 liters of gas into my gerry can at -10c and noticed that there is reduced volume compared to summer temps. So now I'm wondering if it would be appropriate to reduce the amount of oil in the premix? Oil doesnt lose volume like gas does. I usually mix 500ml oil into 20liters in the summer. Does gas regain some volume when atomized in the carb?

  4. I'm about to buy a set of PT mids for my bike. My plan is to use the stock silencers with these pipes because I need to keep them as quiet as possible and as stock looking as possible. I ride almost daily and the cops are usually not too far away. What jets should I use? normally its a 270 jet but with the stock mufflers? I know I will lose a bit of power but how much? Anybody else ever do this combo? If all is painted black will it look stock enuff to the average cop who isn't a Banshee expert?

  5. Y ou probably dont need the 105 octane. 94 will do fine unless you have elevated compression. 40:1 using synthetic oil is also the norm. 1.5 litres of 10w30 regular motor oil will do the trans oil change and won't need to be changed nearly as often as type f. Clean and oil your air filter as often as an obsessive compulsive person might. Never forget to rejet for winter. Welcome bro

  6. Don't worry about the cold weather. I live in Quebec and ride daily all winter long. Never had any problems. Make sure you're jetted for winter and run full synthetic oil at 40:1 . I don't really ride when it drops past -20 because i can't feel my fingers anymore. Heated gloves are a good investment. You will also need some winter paddles if you plan on getting any traction whatsoever.

Just buy the machine and don't look back. Lespac.com and Kijiji are full of Banshees. Shop around and you will make a good deal.
