  1. the bhq way.... slam everyone. sounds like they had a deal and the seller was willing to wait and then sold the pipes after the funds were ready.... kinda shady sounding to me.
  2. Some of the smoothest shifting overrides I've owned look like it was done with a chainsaw, but yeah I get what you're saying. I don't know him.
  3. I would put the needle back in the middle for now
  4. if it runs better with the needle all the way down it needs a smaller main jet. maybe a little more detail. rough bog with no top is typically rich. crisp bottom with a smooth bog on top as it starts to pull is lean. im use to seeing 320 on main with similar setup, but ive always ran a k&n which requires a bit more main. i would drop 2 sizes on the main and if it's night and day you're going in the right direction. if no improvement or worse go the other way.
  5. lol a bunch of testosterone building in this post. im out...
  6. i just polish parts... don't know much about banshee's.
  7. the modded drum allows the fork to slide over hence the gear trying to come out. thats why duneables have springs on the fork shaft. im telling you a stock drum will have those gears working just like a stock tans. they will hold the gear in place.
  8. None of of my override transmissions duneable or full had anything done to the gear set other than every other dog removed and the ramp angle changed. The ramp angle is only changed to increase positive engagement and every other dog to increase engagement timing. A promo has every other dog removed and ramps cleaned up. Guess someone is going to have to explain to me what I am missing here? Remove the springs if it has them, replace the shift drum (if it's a full 6 speed) then the star really doesn't even need to be swapped. Someone wanna step in and explain why it's not a simple swap?
  9. It's really a simple process. .. if it's a full override it shouldn't have springs on the fork shafts. A simple drum/star swap will have it acting like a stock Trans again. 90% of a override is in the modded drum.
  10. My shift drum will have a factory star on it. The angle of the dog won't effect going back to a stock drum.
  11. if it is a override a few of the "pro mod" mods have already been done. every other dog removed etc.
  12. i have a factory shift drum $30 shipped. you will need a stock drum, remove any springs on the shift fork shafts. that is if 6th hasn't been removed.
  13. in the current market i suppose nothing is "cheap" , but you can barely build a 120+hp motor for less than 5k with pipes and carbs. chassis has to have value. i guess i would have thought a setup like that would have been listed for 6K+
  14. my bad that is a 2012 listing, but could probably chase it down through him
  15. the link posted above is a for sale listing. now the guy that was claiming to be the owner is clearly not the owner. think the link said 5k which seems cheap as shit
  16. good find db... too bad the guy already deleted his facebook account lmao
  17. idk. i will look, but im guessing he is probably pretty embarrassed
  18. i did. he stuck to his claim. then postd his "other" turbo bike which wasnt turbo'd. it was hilarious and no he wasn't trolling. just some looser trying to be "cool"
  19. who's bike is this? anyone know the real owners name? would like to tag him on facebook. this idiot is claiming it's his and its a nitrous 250r.
  20. just buy an aftermarket head from a sponsor and have them set you up with the proper domes. milling a stock head for compression does nothing for performance only hurts it.
