What up guys Thanks for all the info on this site always have found what I needed. I am in need of some help that I can not find a clear answer . So I took my motor apart to put in an override. I decided to look in my cylinders for an inspection I noticed that my cylinders had Some aluminum deposit on the nickasil. so I decided to Scotch-Brite it out to see the cross hatches which are slightly their motor always ran really strong I was wondering if anybody could give me some info on what I should do. I took measurements and this is what I have on top of cylinder is 2.677 bottom is 2.677 top of piston is 2.66 bottom is 2.670 ring gap is about .020 I was thinking of putting it back Together but I don’t know if I messed up by removing the aluminum from the nickasil will my ring still seat good or should I get new rings or new pistons and rings. Any info will be appreciated thanks .

yea I whant to say that too but fast also sells the rick stator that is known to fail so its hard to say.????

Hi, Just wondering if anobody on this site has used the alba pro elite steering stabilizer? and if anyone has a pick on how it would be installed? I'm thinking of buying one but cannot find any reviews. I know they say all the stick type stabilizers are the same, but just wondering if anyone has used this one before? And more or less what is the life line on these before a rebuilt?

dek on needle 35 pilot 180 main iam at 5000 ft when i got the bike it had a 160 main ran good but it seemed to me like it was geting hot

Needle size 45 that's all I could see on the slide and needle, pilot size 35, and on the float that is something I have not checked do you think it might be overflowing?

I have banshee with 100 over bore, vforce reeds, a 2n1 carb kit 35mm, 21cc domes, main jet is at 180 and the needle clip in the center spot, pilot size unknown. Bike has just been rebuilt runs strong at the top end but has a very hesitant take off to mid range, I have messed with the jetting up and down and can't figure this one out and I'm blaming this on the 2n1 system. Any suggestions on this one? I am at 5000feet. Also the bike seems to smoke alot more on the left cylinder I'm blaming this on the pilot jet because it's on the left side and I figure the 2n1 just sucks up the left side quicker but I don't know I'm kinda lost with this one. I'm thinking of going back to a two carb set up unless anyone can help me fix this plz. Thanks!

Sorry for the delay on answering was out of town. I am currently bored 100 over with a very mild port at 5000 feet, main jet is 180 with a needle in the center groove as for pilot I do not know. Any suggestions??? The bike has a very hesitant take off. I rejet it up and down and cant figure out what is wrong. Thanks!!!

Thanks! Also I have another banshee with a 2n1 carb I think it's crap it's bored 100 over with a very mild port. I want to put the stock 26 carbs because I think it will run alot better, damn thing boggs down bad when i take off. I've done plenty of plug checks and they look good. What's your input on that? Thanks.

Thanks as far as boost bottle I know it's an up and down battle, my throttle response is on the money. As far as advancing the timing you say it's a good idea. Is there any special timing plate or are they all the same? Thanks!
