  1. I’m sure Terry Cable would make LH throttles if asked. They’re good people.

Also, love that Hot Seat sticker. Brings back memories. We used to sell parts to them before they turned into Speedwerx/mainly AC.

Agreed on everything here. I would assume that any of the throttle mfgs could simply invert their existing program and make it happen. That said, if they can't, I am sure Cluadia could! That dude is ubber talented in the machining shit!
  2. In the past square motors worked great, were typically reliable, and make great power. For instance look how many 78 x 78 DMs are around that fkn rip!! Now 5 years ago the performance seemed to drop off once you got out of square on the stroke side, when the stroke was bigger. They just didn't seem to work as well as the square stuff or the stuff out of square in the opposite direction. And as a rule of thumb, I would say that holds true in most applications to this day. BUT there are a few out of square motors on the stroke side running around that FKN fly, but those are typically owned by very experienced owners and built by very experienced builders.

And there are limits to how far out of square remains successful. 54 x 78..... didn't work great. 58 x 78 is a fkn riot....

  3. What kind of carbs? By jetting spec I'd guess stock?

    Clean the carbs.
    27.5 pilots
Make sure floats are correct height
Make sure bowls are on correct side
Make sure choke tube is installed

When carbs are off you are only 8 bolts from seeing both reeds. Pull them and inspect them. Can you see light through them? Pedals cracked/chipped/missing? Reeds have to be pretty bad before you will see a complete misfire issue.

  4. I have a 3 and 4, dont remember what models. I have just started to use them and both work great. I got them as gifts, so I'm not out of pocket any money for them other than a few accessories to get them mounted.

That all said, if I was to go purchase something it would be the Garmin line. For me, the added inputs for speed, and rpm for overlays into the video is something I'd like to be able to do.

  5. Hi guys new here and new to Banshee/quad ownership in general.
My 94 Banshee sounds odd but actually runs somewhat decent surprisingly.
I tried leaning out(counterclock turning air screws on stock carbs) and helped a bit but still doesn't sound crisp and poppy like most banshees. Any ideas?
    heres video

thanks in advance. I also bought clymer manual if that is of any relevance for further steps.
    Assuming you live in Havasu?

What's the setup on the bike? Mods, carbs, jetting, etc. Its cold as F down there right now, so whatever you do now will be a bit different when it warms up a bit.
